Career ObjectiveAn experienced Executive Chef hits the ground running at every shift, enjoy the fast pace of the kitchen and consistently produce top quality dishes under pressure. Over 25 years of professional cooking background, I have been taking responsibility for the running of the kitchen, but also know when and how to delegate and having an unstoppable talent for creating new dishes and menus.
Essential Duties & Key responsibilities Ensure that quality culinary dishes are served on schedule and rectify any problem arises. Modify and create new menus & dishes as needed Schedule and coordinate the work of chefs, cooks and other kitchen employees to assure that food preparation is
technically correct and according to the outlet standards. Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all
times. Establish controls to minimize food and supply waste. Safeguard all food preparation chefs by implementing training to increase their knowledge about safety sanitation
and accident prevention principles Develop standard recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation which help to assure consistently
high quality and to minimize food costs; exercise portion control for all items served and assist in establishing menu selling prices.
Directly supervise the cooking of items that require skillful preparation Approve the requisition of products and other necessary food supplies Ensures proper staffing for maximum productivity and high standards of quality; controls food and payroll costs to
achieve maximum profitability. Establish and maintains a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment. Develop policies and procedures to enhance and measure quality; continually update written policies and
procedures to reflect state-of-the-art techniques, equipment and terminology. Evaluate food products to assure that quality standards are consistently attained Provides training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen team
