Why is change Required ?
ChangeYou cannot step into the same river twice.The art of progress is to preserve order
amid change and to preserve change amid order.
To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly
Change is moving away from status quoTo replace with another.
CHANGEThe process of becoming different. To make or become different, give or begin to have a

Dissatisfaction with the old and belief in the new.

understand need for change or are inept in their ability to deal with the change will fade and fall behind, if they survive at all- Kanter.

What is personal changePersonal change refers to changes in our
behavioral patterns, attitudes, skill and knowledge.
Personal change can occur at intellectual and emotional level.
Examples of personal change: in marital status, health, status, career, Personal habits, relationships, relocation, skill and knowledge etc.
Pace of personal change depends on five factors
Safety-feeling secure before trying something new
Specificity -need to start small and be specific
Age- one may be less able to adapt as one gets older
Time- allows one to break old habitsAttitude- one’s belief that he/she can’t
change.

the changing environment. Society and organizations transform
continuously and we need to accept these changes and change ourselves accordingly

of attitudes; nothing kills change faster than attitudes that resist it.
Failure stems from two sets of works: "I can’t" and "Yes, but…"
Those adept at change don’t reject good advice just to prove they aren’t being controlled by those who give it.
