Kate Whalen Madison Heise Andrew Ng April 5, 2017 WRA 210 Module 9 Above are screenshots of what myspace.com used to look like and below that is a redesign of the homepage and sign up/log in site. I created a redesign somewhat along the layout and design of what is currently the myspace site. I used the logo, but kept the homepage site clean and simple with a clear way to sign up or log in to your myspace account. These redesigns look much different than how myspace looked throughout the 2000’s. The redesign contains better layout, design principles, and accessibility. Below, we have a sitemap and wireframe for the myspace feed page. The sitemap has a landing page that leads to discover, trending, apps, profile, feed, friends, and messages. The wireframe gives a nice visual of what that site in action would look like. Along the side you can see my feed, my friends, my messages, my profile, and my apps. In the center of the wireframe we see the feed and along the right side we see trending and discover. We redesigned these to show all aspects that we find important to myspace while managing to maintain a simple, sleek layout. Our redesign choices were aimed at keeping things simple, desirable, accessible, and findable to ensure that users enjoy using our platform.
