Modular UPS SystemS6300 20–440 kVA (n+1)
Statron’s scalable, modular 3-phase,double conversion UPS systemoffers maximum flexibility and poweravailability.
The unique system design with itsadvanced decentralized parallelarchitecture consists of fully inde-pendent and hot pluggable modules. Each module within the UPS systemconsists of a rectifier, inverter, staticbypass and its own DSP control andthus the UPS is free of commonfailure points and maximizes poweravailability.

The Statron S6300 UPS is developed for mission-critical applications like datacenters, computer-con-trolled industry processes, sensitive medical equipment or machines – everywhere where highest avail-ability must be provided to secure critical loads.
Power outages or other disturbances in the power grid cannot be avoided but the downtime and reco-very costs of your system can. The S6300 uninterruptible power supply (UPS) protects mission-criticalloads against all disturbances in the power grid as shown below and provides safe and clean backuppower.
Equipment connected to the S6300 UPS is protected against the following disturbances:
Voltage Phenomenon Time Example
1. Outage /blackouts >10 ms
2. Sags /brownouts <16 ms
3. Dynamic overvoltage 4 …16 ms
4. Undervoltage continuous
5. Overvoltage continuous
6. Transients / surges <4 ms
7. Voltage distorsion (burst) alternating
8. Voltage distorsion periodical
9. Frequency variations sporadic
10. Lightning strikes sporadic

The service friendly concept is another great advantage of theS6300.Hot-plug modules and pre-configured parts guarantee easyand fast replacement, service and maintenance guaranteeingpower availability.
Key points in reducing the service and maintenance costs:
• Reduced MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and maximizedsecured availability with hot-plug modules.
• Front access to all components.
• No need for trained personnel on site as the system isdesigned for “plug and play” integration.
• No spare parts stock on site needed. In case of a failureonly the module must be replaced.
Batteries and battery cabinets –modular technology
Multiple strings of sealed maintenance free long life lead acidbatteries in pre-configured battery trays simplify the installa-tion on site. Additional battery strings can be added while thesystem is running for additional back-up time.
External sealed maintenance free lead acid batteries or ventedlow maintenance lead acid batteries can be placed on a rack,in a special battery room or besides the UPS system.

Modular n+1 Redundancy
Real redundancy and a decentralized architecture for all critical components eliminate the“single point of failure” completely.
• Hot-plug modules up to 440 kVA (n+1).
• Every module with own inverter, recitifierand static switch. No single point of failure.
• Internal, redundant power supply.
• Internal or external batteries.
• Monitored and speed controlled fans.

Flexibility
The S6300 UPS is scalable up to 440 kVA (n+1) with its simple hot-plugable modules. Themodules allow flexible investments, always then when more power is required. An oversizedUPS is no longer needed.
Low operation costs
The operation costs are a key factor for every company. A modular UPS with an optimizedenergy efficiency helps to keep the operation cost as low as possible. The high efficiency of>94% even at 50% load keeps the energy consumption low.
Total cost of ownership (TCO)
Another important criteria while choosing the right UPS system is the total cost of ownership.Calculated over a full lifetime cycle the S6300 UPS has a remarkable lower TCO compared witha standard UPS system, considering key factors like investment cost, energy efficiency, lowmaintenance cost and small footprint.
Communication
State-of-the-art communication software supports themonitoring and control of the UPS, besides the displaycontrol panel.
• RS232 connection with MODBUS for monitoring.
• UPSMon control software und flexible communica-tion via SNMP and network adapter.
• The complete system can be controlled via LCDdisplay which shows an overview of the status andthe most important information.
• All alarms are shown in easy to understand text.
