MASTODONS

Management, analysis and processing of large data masses (measurements, text, image, sound, ...)

7 axes

1. Storage and management of big data (for example, on the Cloud), security, confidentiality.

2. Intensive computing on large volumes of data, data-driven parallelism.

3. Visualization of large data masses.

4. Knowledge extraction, data mining and machine learning.

5. Problems of ownership, rights of use, rights to forget.

6. Preservation/archiving of data for future generations.

7. Exploitation of large masses of data linked to scientific databases, social networks, very large literary corpuses, and others.

Nano - G3N : Graphene, New paradigms, Nanomedicine, Nanometrology

Based on existing structures of CNRS : C’Nano, RENATECH and Proximity Centers

4 themes to develop

1. Graphene and beyond : replacement of Si ; other materials eg. silicenes

2. New paradigms of information processing: energy efficiency, manufacturing at very large scale and low cost, respect of environmental laws

3. Nanomedicine : targeting the administration of medicines, theragnostics for personalized treatments, gene therapy

4. Nanometrology : measurement, control during elaboration, usage, waste during destruction of products at end of life-cycle, impacts on health and the environment, legislation

5. Methods and stakes
