Project Description: A new railway alignment dedicated for the high speed train between Alexandria and Aswan through Cairo, Assiut and Luxor. The line is planned to be built on 3 phases:Phase I: Cairo- AlexA pre- feasibility study has been conducted by an Italian Company and it stated the following:-Line length: 202 km -The running speed: 300-350km/h-Execution duration: 5 years -Trip time: 60 minutes non stop-Expected passengers: from 10 to 18 million /yearPhase II: Cairo- LuxorThe development of the tender document and TOR for the feasibility study is ongoing and the following are the basic data of the line: -Line length: 680 km -The running speed: 300-350 km/h-Execution duration: 8 years -Expected passengers: from25 to 30 million/year

Project Description: •The selected location area is along a freight rail line (Wahat) at km 84 exists a big plot of (nearly 400 ha) assigned to Dry Port Authority and suitable for building up a logistics village with all relative facilities. For the last mile from the intended logistic center to factories trucks will be used. 6th of October scored the best rate compared to the other locations. the 6th of October logistics center has an access to Ain Sokhna on the red sea and Alexandria and Dekhela Port on the Mediterranean sea and connected to the rail network.
• The distance between and both Alexandria and El Dekheila sea ports is about 230 KM.

Project Description: •This Line starts at El Wfaa Wel amal in Nasr City , to Dr. Hassan El- Sharif Street at the Eighth suburb in Nasr City and crossing under Mostafa El Nahas St., then Hassan Maamoun St., reaching El Ahly Club at Nasr City and then down through El Nasr Road until it intersects with El-Nozha St. and continues underneath it to intersect with Line 3 at Haroun Station then continues under Abu Bakr El Sedeek St. in Heliopolis and continues to intersect with Line1 at Helmeyet El zeitoun Station and continues until El Sawah Square , then crosses down the railway to Ahmed Helmy St. and continue until El Khalafawy Square to intersect with Line 2 at El Khalafawy Station then Gisr El Bahr St. until El-Sahel area the end of this line with a length of about 20 km , the total number of stations will be about 17 underground station.

Project Description: •This line starts from El Khosous area at exit 18 of the Ring Road and then continues until the East of Shubra Al Khiemah then goes along beside Ismailia Canal, and will continue until El Sawah Square, then Port Said St. to cross above Line 1 at Ghamrah Station Until El-Sayeda Zeinab Square then continues to El Fustat Park to intersect with Line 4 and continues to the New Maadi area next to the Satellite area end of this line, with a length of about 30 km , 10 km of them on viaduct and about 20 km underground.•The sixth line will include 24 Stations, 4 elevated and 20 underground stations.
