Ladies and Gentlemen,I would like to warmly invite you to the 8th SEG Stock Exchange Management Boards Congress, which will be held between 17 and 18 October 2013 in Narvil Conference & Spa Hotel in Serock. This year’s Congress is also a jubilee edition, because SEG is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The leading theme of October’s Congress is „Changes in economic environment as an opportunity to improve competitiveness of listed companies”. The Con-
gress will be commenced by inauguration lecture of Włodzimierz Karpiński, the Minister of Treasury. Subsequent panels, discussed among Boards of leading Polish companies, will be devoted to long-term strategy, foreign expansion and competitiveness through innovation. After the substantive part the 4th Charity Run of Capital Market will be held. The minimum distance is 1km only – with a possibility of running it repeatedly – the more we run, the more funds will be donated to charity.
Funds acquired during the run will be allocated in practical entrepreneurship education of secondary school youth as part of the „Company Management” programme, which is executed by Youth Entre-preneurship Foundation.
After the sports part I invite you for cocktails, gala dinner and Lady Pank band concert.
This year’s Congress will be exceptional not only for its interesting substantive part and jubilee overtone, but equally for themed workshops planned for the 2nd day, devoted to matters vital from listed compa-nies’ board members perspective.
I hope the proposed subject, which – I think – will be an important motive for contemplating operation of companies in the current market environment, it will also outline new strategies of development in these specific times.
I wish you a rewarding participation in the Congress!
