CYLINDER ADJUSTMENT

1. Remove cable from cylinder release mechanism.

2. Loosen jam nut.

3. Slide rubber washer down.

4. Grip cylinder shaft with padded pliers.

5. Turn cylinder shaft until the point that all play in the release lever is eliminated.NOTE: Take care to avoid scratching cylinder shaft.

6. Tighten jam nut.

7. Attach the cable.

4 TIP: Wrap electrical tape around the plier jaws to help avoid scratching the cylinder shaft.

RELEASE CONTROL BOX ADJUSTMENT

To remove the cover plate:

1. Remove screw to remove the handle.

2. Remove retaining clip.

3. Remove (4) screws and pull the cover off.

4. Remove (4) screws that hold the mechanism inside the chair arm, then pull the mechanism out from the chair.

5. Loosen the set screw.

6. Turn the tension adjustment screw clockwise until there is slack in the cable and there is some play in the shaft.NOTE: DO NOT substitute an alternitive screw for the adjustment screw.

7. Turn the tension adjustment screw counterclockwise to the point that all slack in the cable is eliminated and there is no play in the shaft.NOTE: DO NOT rotate beyond this point.

8. Tighten the set screw.

9. Install the mechanism back into the chair using (4) screws.

10. Install the cover using (4) screws.

11. Install the retaining clip.

REGULACIÓN DE LA CAJA DE CONTROL DE LIBERACIÓN

Para retirar la placa cubertora:

1. Retire el tornillo para retirar el mango.

2. Retire la presilla de retención.

3. Retire (4) tornillos y extraiga la tapa.

4. Retire los (4) tornillos que sostienen al mecanismo dentro del brazo de la silla, luego extraiga el mecanismo de la silla.

5. Afloje el tornillo de retención.

6. Gire el tornillo de regulación de la tensión en sentido de las manecillas del reloj hasta que el cable quede flojo y haya algo de holgura en el eje.NOTA: NO sustituya el tornillo de regulación con un tornillo alternativo.

7. Gire el tornillo de regulación de la tensión en sentido contrario de las manecillas del reloj hasta eliminar toda flojedad en el cable y hasta que no haya holgura en el eje.NOTA: NO gire más allá de este punto.

8. Apriete el tornillo de retención.

9. Vuelva a instalar el mecanismo en la silla con los (4) tornillos.

10. Instale la tapa con (4) tornillos.

11. Instale la presilla de retención.

12. Instale el mango.

6 Gire el tornillo de regulación de a tensiónen sentido de las manecillas del reloj.
