Receptionist

The jobholder will be based in Stevenage but some travel around the County in connection with other offices (Hertford, St Albans and Welwyn Garden City) might be required.

We are a leading mental health charity working in Hertfordshire.  We are working to reduce the stigma of mental health diagnosis.  We support people with mental health conditions to create a pathway to recovery. We are innovative in developing and increasing access to services to improve wellbeing and prevent mental health issues developing; through education and support, to improve people's awareness to be proactive looking after their health and wellbeing

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic individual to welcome service users to our centre in Stevenage.  In addition, the jobholder will work with other staff to exchange information relating to projects, contracts and funding opportunities and other information, as appropriate.  Answering the telephone, taking messages and managing the diary is key to this role.

Experience working in a busy office is essential.  Qualifications in administration and or business are desirable.  Skills and knowledge of mental health services will enhance applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION - Receptionist

Responsible for: Reception and administrative duties. Duration: Fixed term contract until 31st March 2019, with annual reviewHours: 12 hours per week Thursday, Friday & SaturdaySalary: £16,835 pa pro rata (£5,460 per annum, £8.75 per hour)Location / operation: The jobholder will be based in Stevenage but some travel

Benefits

All full-time employees have an entitlement of 25 days paid holiday per year (April 1st - March 31st). Statutory bank and public holidays are in addition to standard holiday entitlement. Part-time employees' holiday’s entitlement is pro-rata.
