GDTU - GROUND DATA TRANSFER UNIT

The G-DTU is a ground-based docking station that interfaces to the JMPS/AMPS Ground station via a standard USB cable and is used to upload and download data onto/off aircraft via the DTD memory device. Data to/from the JMPS/AMPS is encrypted/decrypted by the G-DTU and then is written to or read from the Data Transfer Device (DTD). Data recorded from the aircraft is decrypted by the G-DTU prior to transmission of the data to JMPS/AMPS. The G-DTU uses the same encryption/decryption algorithms as the DTU. The G-DTU is compatible with a variety of aircraft transfer systems.

MENTIS - REMOTE INTERFACE UNIT

Interoperability between subsystems is an increasingly nagging problem with modern military platforms. MENTIS overcomes these issues by providing a standardized solution that transparently adapts to unique connectorizations, and provides real-time translation between diverse data formats. With MENTIS, analog and digital inputs are internally rerouted using an embedded switching fabric, and the signals are transformed into a digital output that is passed to the platform’s onboard computer for logging and/or analysis, eliminating the need to rewire input connectors for different payloads. The onboard processing provides translations between various input signal types, all in a package as small as 1” x 1” x ½”. Three MENTIS configurations are available.

POC offers a variety of crash survivable memory options. This would include 32 GB of crash survivable memory. Contact POC for assistance.

Radar Pulse

SAWDER is a software/firmware solution for generating next generation direct digital RF synthesis of radar waveforms with unprecedented signal agility and quality. Specifically, SAWDER is able to implement arbitrary intra-pulse modulations, continuously and instantly variable pulse widths, and non-periodic pulse repetition, and includes POC’s direct digital RF predistortion to provide high spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) from the radar exciter. SAWDER has been implemented in a 2U rackmount chassis (19”x3.5”x13”) and covers a frequency range from DC to 2 GHz, which occupies less than 1/30 of the space of the legacy AN/SPS-49 radar exciter. SAWDER features a modular, open, and expandable architecture to enable rapid updates of executable software, configuration files, and libraries, in order to deploy new capabilities while underway. Due to SAWDER’s control of all aspects of the waveform over timescales from nanoseconds to seconds and low-latency (sub-microsecond) coupling to the radar receiver, SAWDER is an key enabling technology for next generation cognitive EW and integrated fires systems in airborne, maritime, and ground applications.

CYBERSECURITY

DOCSWAT - DATA-OVER-CHAOS SENSOR WEB WITH ADVANCED TRUST SYSTEMPOC has developed a secure communication method to protect sensor networks, information, and communication systems from exploration and cyber attacks. The method is based on use of data-over-chaos (DOC) algorithms for data hiding and transportation, and unique integration of trusted management tools with new enhanced security technology. Data and the data structure cannot be retrieved without knowing the device fingerprint, i.e., a special set of tables (proto-tables) that can be encrypted, distributed, and hidden in the end-node hardware and/or software. This allows elimination of other data encrypting methodologies, including data encryption with encryption keys and key-related security gaps and disadvantages. DOCSWAT is adaptive both in sensor content and as an ad hoc network.

ENCRYPTED DATA

POC employs a variety of applied encryption solutions supporting information assurance requirements for varying levels of secure information. Many of our products can be designed with or without encrypted features. Some products contain cross-domain protection solutions that allow classified and unclassified information to be handled by the same unit. POC utilized highly advanced data-at-rest solutions, all with enhanced throughput and low SWaP. For specifications and additional information, contact POC.
