Host a Baylor StudentComprised of 69 talented student musicians, the Baylor University Wind Ensemble will tour through Nashville on their way to North Carolina. They will spend two days in the Nashville area and will perform in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Monday, March 18, at 7:30 p.m. To assist in their travel, we are looking for hosts who would agree to keep 2 or more of these wonderful students for 2 nights during their Nashville stay (Sunday and Monday, March 17 - 18). As a small token of their appreciation, the Baylor Wind Ensemble will provide complimentary tickets to host families to attend their Schermerhorn performance.

If you are willing to host a couple of these students, or more, please contact Gayle Walsh at [email protected] or call her at 383.7964.

Centerpieces for SaleThank you for attending the 25-year ministry celebration of Rus Roach. We are honored and blessed to have him as a part of our church staff. At the reception we had several centerpieces that we’d like to offer for sale to you. Cost is $10/centerpiece and they are available in Fellowship Hall. Thank you!

Lost & FoundCan’t seem to find something you’ve been looking for? We have many things we’ve been collecting in the office that may have been lost by you and found by us. Some of these items include reading/eye glasses, Bibles, articles of clothing, and much more. We are sorting through and donating or tossing things at the end of every month.

Pathways to WorkThe Nashville Rescue Mission has several men in the Pathways to Work program willing to do yard work and other general work around the home or office.

If you could use their help, call Emmanuel Hart at 554.7583 for more information.

News from the LibraryNo need to go visit Redbox or Netflix because the library has added over 25 family-friendly DVDs. We also have a number of new memorial books such as Proof of Heaven. We look forward to your visit!

Celebrating Grace HymnalThe day when we will be able to sing from our new Celebrating Grace Hymnal is well within sight. We need funding for 100 more hymnals, approximately $3,500. Every family is encouraged to contribute to our Hymnal Fund by placing copies in memory of or in honor of individuals at a cost of $25 per designation. You will find available throughout our facilities specially designed envelopes for you to make your contributions. You can also make contributions utilizing a credit card via our website. We hope to unveil our new hymnals on Easter Sunday and produce a Hymnal Dedication Service and Hymn Sing on the evening of Sunday, April 21.

Thank you for investing in the future worship of the First Baptist Nashville Family of Faith. A new and very exciting opportunity is on the horizon as we together celebrate God’s abundant and enduring grace through the vibrant singing of timeless hymns and new expressions of the Christian faith all to the glory of God!

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
