OUR BUSY BEAVERS

Our Thanks goes to Joe (Tel) Cacciola for fixing the Lodge's telephones when Verizon could not quite figure what was wrong; he saved the Lodge $300. Thanks also to Mike Adamovich for his dona-tion to the bar. Our Thanks go to all the members who attended the State President’s lunch and espe-cially to Mary Blackadder for all her hard work in getting the lunch together. A special thanks goes to Angelo Salzillo for his donation of the beautiful grill which is now being used for our periodic Friday Night Barbeques, and which is being run by him, Danny LoPresti and Bobby Kramer. Good Job Guys ! Our Thanks go to Bobby Kramer, who ran a Yankee Stadium visit. The 48 attendees were treated to a bus ride in coach, plenty of food and beverages, and they saw the Yankees beat the Cleveland In-dians. All had a great time and said they look forward to the next trip….great job Bobby !

Yorktown Leos Select Matt Arruda As Citizen Of the Year

Our Lodge formally presented our Citizen Of The Year plaque to Al Avitible of the Li-ons Organization (see pg 7), while in the meantime, their Youth group used the occasion to honor our own Matt Arruda as their Citizen Of The Year. Congratulations Matt, on a well deserved award for your service Pictured are Matt (l) and Leo’s President Joe Cirone (r).
