and tenorite ntonoelinic CuO, with domains ranging between 180-204) and 10-

30 nm, respectively. L'ay m'ergy dispersive spectroscopy (F',DS) results showed elemental tromposition in conoordance with stoichionietric piases, and they also

revealed that the Mercase in temperature conduces hito an Mercase of deposite('

CuO. Coutrary Lo EI)S results. Itietveld refinement effectuated Lo the material

showed a non stoiebionietric ZnO pitase, with an oxygen excess which reaehes its III&Xi1111.1111 belween 500 and 600 °C.

Field ennnission scanning and transmission clectron microscopy study showed a

porous crystalline ZnO nanorods covered by ZnO-CuO nanopartieles. An evident

high roughness over the external ZnO tianorods layers evidenced a. intrinsically

mixed heterostructure, sitial by mitl atntosphere formed; we studicd CuO and Cu.:03 formation and mechanism over the ZnO surface.

Por este medio me permito solicitarle la contratación en forma directa de la inscripción al congreso Materials Research Congress IMRC XX, el cual se llevará a cabo en Cancún, Quintana Roo, del 14 al 19 de agosto del presente año, con un costo de 135 dólares, con cargo al Proyecto 20107.

Esta contratación se basa en el artículo 41 fracción I de la Ley de Adquisiciones, Arrendamientos y Servicios del Sector Publico que a la letra dice: "Las dependencias y entidades, bajo su responsabilidad, podrán contratar adquisiciones, arrendamientos y servicios, sin sujetarse al procedimiento de licitación pública, a través de los procedimientos de invitación a cuando menos tres personas o de adjudicación directa, por tratarse de obras de arte, o bienes y servicios para los cuales no existan alternativos o sustitutos técnicamente razonables, el contrato sólo pueda celebrarse con una determinada persona porque posee la titularidad o el licenciamiento exclusivo de patentes, derechos de autor u otros derechos exclusivos".

El objetivo de asistir a dicho congreso es participar con la presentación de dos trabajos: titulado "Synthesis, Characterization and Photocatalytic activity of TiO2 based thin Films inside a tubing by AACVD" y "Plataforma CVD asistida po Aerosol para depositar recubrimientos sobre substratos de grandes dimensiones", los cuales serán sometidos a consideración y crítica de la comunidad científica internacional, exponiendo así parte de la investigación realizada en el CIMAV y en el Laboratorio Nacional de Nanotecnología.

Por lo anterior y con fundamento en el segundo párrafo del Art. 40 de la Ley de Adquisiciones, Arrendamientos y Servicios del Sector Público, y en los artículos 19 Fr. SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND PHOTOCATALYTIC ACTIVITY OF TiO2 THIN FILMS OBTAINED BY AACVD.

Lower cost and better performance of titanium dioxide (Ti02) in the degradation of organic molecules have stimulated many researches to further explore the properties of this oxide in many photocatalytic reactions. However, its use is limited due to its high band gap and to the decrease of photocatalytic activity by the possible recombination of the generated electron-hole pairs. TiO2 doped with transition metal ions has been studied as a promising way for improving photocatalysis, extending their response from ultraviolet to visible region. In this work, we report the synthesis of nickel and copper doped TiO2 thin films, deposited in vycor glass substrates by aerosol assisted chemical vapour deposition [1]. The precursor solution was titanium (IV) oxyacetylacetonate dissolved in methanol and the dopant precursors were nickel and copper nitrate. The dopant percentage in solution was varied from O to 10 at.%. The samples were characterized by graizing incidence X-ray diffraction, high resolution scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, UV-visible spectrophotometry, Reman spectroscopy and high resolution transmission electron microscopy. The films produced were homogeneous, uniforms, transparent, non-light scattering and highly adherents to the substrate. The effects of doping concentration on the structural, optical and photocatalytic properties of the films were investigated. Results evidence the presence of tetragonal anatase phase in all films with optical transmittances about 80%. The nickel and copper dopants induce grain growth and improve the crystallinity of these materials. Additionally, we demonstrated the high photocatalytic efficiency of the samples to degradation of blue methylene dye under UV-VIS light irradiation at room temperature.

Presentamos un sistema que permite depositar recubrimientos delgados de diversos materiales (óxidos, metales nobles, polímeros) sobre substratos planos de grandes dimensiones (30 x 40 cm), por medio de una técnica CVD asistida por aerosol [1]. Se diferencia del método convencional CVD, en que opera a presión atmosférica y donde además el transporte de reactantes se realiza utilizando un gas que arrastra una nube de gotas micro-métricas de la solución precursora. La gran ventaja del método, es que es escalable a nivel industrial. Sin embargo, a pesar de ser relativamente simple y económico de implementar, el proceso es complejo; involucra un diseño y control preciso de varios parámetros (geometría, distribución de temperatura, flujo de gases y precursores) para conseguir depósitos homogéneos y de buena calidad. El sistema consta de tres secciones principales: 1) inyección y precalentamiento de los substratos, 2) cámara de depósito, 3) enfriamiento y retiro de substratos. La cámara de depósito está constituida por placas de calentamiento del substrato, tobera de inyección de los precursores [2], ductos de evacuación de efluentes del proceso, y dispositivo de nebulización ultrasónico. Se realizaron simulaciones de la cámara, incluyendo la tobera de inyección, el nebulizador y la placa superior de calentamiento con la finalidad de optimizar su diseño. A la fecha se han obtenido depósitos uniformes de recubrimientos de Ti02, ZnO, SnO2 con espesores entre 70 y 200 nm, sobre vidrios templados de 33 x 40 cm. El potencial de aplicación de la plataforma es amplio, se considera depositar cualquier óxido simple o complejo, metales nobles, polímeros, sobre diferentes substratos, tales como vidrio, metales, cerámicos o polímeros. En este último caso, la limitante es la temperatura de depósito. Se presentan algunos ejemplos de posibles aplicaciones.

SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND PHOTOCATALYTIC ACTIVITY OF TiO2 BASED THIN FILMS INSIDE A TUBING BY AACVD.


Lower cost and better performance of TiO2 in the degradation of organic molecules

have stimulated many researches to further explore the properties of this oxide in

many photocatalytic reactions. However, its use is limited due to its high band gap

and to the decrease of photocatalytic activity by the possible recombination of the

generated electron-hole pairs. TiO2 doped with transition metal ions has been

studied as a promising way for improving photocatalysis, extending their response

from ultraviolet to visible region. In this work, we report the synthesis of nickel and

copper doped TiO 2 thin films, deposited inside a vycor glass substrates by aerosol

assisted chemical vapour deposition method [1]. The precursor solution were of

titanium (IV) oxyacetylacetonate dissolved in methanol. Dopant precursors were

nickel (II) nitrate hexahydrate and copper (II) nitrate as the reactants. The atomic

percentage of dopant in solution was varied from O to 8 at.%. The samples were

characterized by graizing incidence X-ray diffraction, high resolution scanning

electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, UV-visible spectrophotometry and

high resolution transmission electron microscopy. The films produced were

homogeneous, uniforms, transparent, non-light scattering and highly adherents to

the substrate. The effects of doping concentration on the chemical, structural,

optical and photocatalytic properties of the films were investigated. The results

show that nickel and copper stimulates grain growth and improves the crystallinity

of these films. The anatase phase was observed in all samples. The optical

transmittance of samples were around 80%.

Currently, LiNbO3 is one of the most promising materials for applications in a large variety of optical devices including electro-optic modulators, frequency doublers, multiplexors and integrated and guided wave optics, between a lame quantity of potential technological applications. Usually the electrical and optical properties and the performance of LiNbO3 have been studied in well-crystallized bulk material. However, recently thin films of this ferroelectric oxide have attracted a great deal of interest, mainly due to its potential use in the telecommunications area.

In this work we report the synthesis and micro-structural characterization of LiNbO3 thin films deposited by the Aerosol Assisted Chemical Vapour Deposition method (AACVD) employing a silicon plate as a substrate. The deposition setup was similar to that previously reported elsewhere (1). The starting solutions were dilutions of Niobium ethoxide and Lithium acetylacetonate in methanol, employing a rate 2:1 with concentrations of 0.02 mol L -1 and 0.01 mol L -1 respectively. The films were prepared at different temperatures between 623 and 773 K. In the method of deposition an ultrasonic nebulizer working at 2.4 MHz generated the aerosol that was conveyed by the carrier gas and directed towards the substrate by a fixed nozzle. The speed of carrier gas, the distance from the nozzle to the substrate and the time of deposition were also varied in order to determine the optimum deposition conditions.

The microstructure of LiNbO3 thin films obtained was characterized by Grazing Incidence X-ray Diffraction (GIXRD), and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). From these studies the best thin films were obtained at 653 K using a deposition time around of one hour. It was also observed that the best samples were obtained employing a thermal treatment around of 1000 K during 5 hours alter the deposition procedure to enhance their crystallinity. The films were polycrystalline, uniform and non-light scattering.

Allotropic carbon forms such as fullerenes, nanotubes and graphenes, have received a notable attention by the scientific community due to their unique configuration and interesting chemical and physical properties. These extraordinary materials have been synthesized by different methods such as chemical vapour deposition (CVD), are discharge, laser ablation, and dispersion of graphite in inorganic solvents among others. However, of particular interest has been the use of CVD for their synthesis [1]. Extensive research has been carried out in order to study the formation mechanism of diese structures, as a function of growth temperature, carbon source, catalyst system and deposition time. In this respect, in this work, few layered carbon nanotubes (CNTs), gmphenes as well as onion-like carbon nanoparticles were synthesized, through CVD. The reaction was carried out in tubular furnace by the catalytic reaction of ferrocene/ethanol solution onto an Inconel 600 surface [2]. Variations in the synthesis parameters such as temperature, deposition time and concentration of the precursor were carried out. Microstructural characterization was done by means of atomic force microscopy (AFM) scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). TEM observations indicated the presence of double/triple walled CNTs using low concentration of catalyst and short deposition time, betweeen 5 to 120 s. SEM micrographs display CNTs growing in both bundle and web-like arrays. The presence of Bernal graphenes among CNTs forests was observed by SEM. HRTEM images also showed the different allotropic forms, such as monolayer sheets of graphene, and onion-like carbon.

SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND PHOTOCATALYTIC ACTIVITY OF TiO2 BASED THIN FILMS INSIDE A TUBING BY AACVD.


Lower cost and better performance of TiO2 in the degradation of organic molecules

have stimulated many researches to further explore the properties of this oxide in

many photocatalytic reactions. However, its use is limited due to its high band gap

and to the decrease of photocatalytic activity by the possible recombination of the

generated electron-hole pairs. TiO2 doped with transition metal ions has been

studied as a promising way for improving photocatalysis, extending their response

from ultraviolet to visible region. In this work, we report the synthesis of nickel and

copper doped TiO2 thin films, deposited inside a vycor glass substrates by aerosol

assisted chemical vapour deposition method [1]. The precursor solution were of

titanium (IV) oxyacetylacetonate dissolved in methanol. Dopant precursors were

nickel (II) nitrate hexahydrate and copper (II) nitrate as the reactants. The atomic

percentage of dopant in solution was varied from O to 8 at.%. The samples were

characterized by graizing incidence X-ray diffraction, high resolution scanning

electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, UV-visible spectrophotometry and

high resolution transmission electron microscopy. The films produced were

homogeneous, uniforms, transparent, non-light scattering and highly adherents to

the substrate. The effects of doping concentration on the chemical, structural,

optical and photocatalytic properties of the films were investigated. The results

show that nickel and copper stimulates grain growth and improves the crystallinity

of these films. The anatase phase was observed in all samples. The optical

transmittance of samples were around 80%.

Presentamos un sistema que permite depositar recubrimientos delgados de diversos materiales (óxidos, metales nobles, polímeros) sobre substratos planos de grandes dimensiones (30 x 40 cm), por medio de una técnica CVD asistida por aerosol [1]. Se diferencia del método convencional CVD, en que opera a presión atmosférica y donde además el transporte de reactantes se realiza utilizando un gas que arrastra una nube de gotas micro-métricas de la solución precursora. La gran ventaja del método, es que es escalable a nivel industrial. Sin embargo, a pesar de ser relativamente simple y económico de implementar, el proceso es complejo; involucra un diseño y control preciso de varios parámetros (geometría, distribución de temperatura, flujo de gases y precursores) para conseguir depósitos homogéneos y de buena calidad. El sistema consta de tres secciones principales: 1) inyección y precalentamiento de los substratos, 2) cámara de depósito, 3) enfriamiento y retiro de substratos. La cámara de depósito está constituida por: placas de calentamiento del substrato, tobera de inyección de los precursores [2], ductos de evacuación de efluentes del proceso, y dispositivo de nebulización ultrasónico. Se realizaron simulaciones de la cámara, incluyendo la tobera de inyección, el nebulizador y la placa superior de calentamiento con la finalidad de optimizar su diseño. A la fecha se han obtenido depósitos uniformes de recubrimientos de Ti02, ZnO, SnO2 con espesores entre 70 y 200 nm, sobre vidrios templados de 33 x 40 cm. El potencial de aplicación de la plataforma es amplio, se considera depositar cualquier óxido simple o complejo, metales nobles, polímeros, sobre diferentes substratos, tales como vidrio, metales, cerámicos o polímeros. En este último caso, la limitante es la temperatura de depósito. Se presentan algunos ejemplos de posibles aplicaciones.

Se recomienda efectuar una Adjudicación Directa para esta contratación, fundamentada en el Art. 41, fracción XVII, basado en lo siguiente:

Este equipo se solicita con el propósito de diseñar una metodología del análisis, diseño e optimización de invernaderos para uso agrícola, desde el punto de vista energético, basado en simulaciones computacionales, minimizando el uso de energía y aprovechando la energía solar, recursos contemplados en el proyecto del mismo nombre.

Por ello, la adquisición por adjudicación directa para la partida mencionada se basa en el Art. 41, fracción XVII, que a la letra estipula "Las dependencias y entidades, bajo su responsabilidad, podrán contratar adquisiciones, arrendamientos y servicios, sin sujetarse al procedimiento de licitación pública, a través de los procedimientos de invitación a cuando menos tres personas o de adjudicación directa, cuando se trate de equipos especializados, sustancias y materiales de origen químico, físico químico o bioquímico para ser utilizadas en actividades experimentales requeridas en proyectos de investigación científica y desarrollo tecnológico, siempre que dichos proyectos se encuentren autorizados por quien determine el titular de la dependencia o el órgano de gobierno de la entidad".

Por medio del p resente, solicito la autorización para que se efectúe la adjudicación directa para la adquisición de "Computadora de. Escritorio marca DELL modelo Vostro 460" que está co ntemplada en el Proyecto "FOMIX DR IGNACIO MARTIN CHIH-2009-001-117363", "40026". Con un costo aproximado de $19,461.00 de Diez y nueve mil cuatrocientos sesenta y un pesos 00/100 M.N. incluyendo impuestos y fletes", del cual anexo la cotización.

Dicha adquisición se basa en el artículo 41 fracción XVII de la Ley de Adquisiciones, Arrendamientos y Servicios del Sector Publico que a la letra dice: "Las dependencias y entidades, bajo su responsabilidad, podrán contratar adquisiciones, arrendamientos y servicios, sin sujetarse al procedimiento de licitación pública, a través de los procedimientos de invitación a cuando menos tres personas o de adjudicación directa, cuando se trate de equipos especializados, sustancias y materiales de origen químico, físico - químico o bioquímico para ser utilizadas en actividades experimentales requeridas en proyectos de investigación científica y desarrollo tecnológico, siempre que dichos proyectos se encuentren autorizados por quien determine el titular de la dependencia o el órgano de gobierno de la entidad".

El objetivo de dicho proyecto es desarrollar una metodología de análisis, diseño y optimización de invernaderos para uso agrícola, desde el punto de vista energético y basada en la utilización de simulación computacional, minimización del uso de energía y utilización de energía solar para el calentamiento.

El equipo antes mencionado es necesario para llevar a cabo la simulación computacional del sistema invernadero - colectores solares.
