How To Download Office 365 on

your PC / LAPTOP

Logging On to Microsoft Outlook Live To access the Windows Live Outlook Web Access system, enter the

url: http://www.outlook.com/mcast.edu.mt in your browser and hit

enter.

The following page will be displayed. Here you are required to enter your username (email address) and password. The default password is set to “mcast” followed by the ID‐Card number without the letter, example: username: [email protected] with ID number 123456(M) the password is mcast123456. Once you have entered your credentials simply click the Sign In button.

The first time you logon to your account you will be taken to the page shown below where the language and time zone are to be set. Preferably the Language is set to English (United Kingdom) and Time Zone to GMT +1. Once these are set using the drop down menus click the OK button to proceed.

Once the save button is pressed the Main Mail Page will load. Here you will have access to all the functionality of Outlook Live.

1) Click on the Setting Tab (Top right of the webpage – the Gear /

Configuration tab).

2) From the Drop Down Menu Office 365 Settings (Last option).

3) Click on the “Software – Install and Manage Software Section”

on the left hand side of the Webpage.

4) If your Operating system is Windows 7 or Windows 8 Click on

Install Button.

5) If your Operating system is Windows XP / Vista, click on

“Install Office Professional Plus 2010” Link and Click install.

6) A pop-up will ask you to download the setup file.

7) Click on Run ( or save the file to your preferred location).

8) If asked for permissions to install the Office 365 program Click

on Yes.

9) After Software has been installed search for Microsoft Office

2013 in your Program Files and you should find the Office

Suite installed.

1. Wait for the Outlook Web App to Load.

2. Click on OneDrive Button (Top banner).

3. Click on “New Document”.

4. Choose the Microsoft Office Product you want to use.

5. Wait to load.
