    Torque & Horsepower

    The working table is capable of large loading capacities. The loading capacity is 600kgs. The table diameter is 600mm. The A-axis provides a tilting range of +120 to -120 degree and the C-axis tolerance is +/-5. Driven by high torque built-in motors, the C-axis offers high repeatability accuracy and positioning accuracy. The tilting axis (A-axis) can be driven by servo motors (opt.) or worm-gear with mechanical braking system. The worm-gear provides high torque and excellent durability.

    Hydraulic and pneumatic power supplied from table center.

    High precision angle encoder fit on A axis and C-axis.

    Microcut/Challenger provides a wide selection of spindles: 18,000 rpm or 24,000 rpm high power core-cooled motorized spindle, and the 12,000 rpm or 15,000 rpm in-line mechanical spindle. The cutting tools are securely drawn into the spindle by the preloaded spring package of the integrated power draw bar. The 20 bars coolant through-spindle system comes as a standard with the MU-5X, increa- sing tool life and allowing higher cutting speed and chip-clearing during deep-hole drilling and blind-pocket milling.
