Current ProjectsSR 874 Ramp Connector to SW 128th Street (87410)• New 4-lane ramp connection provides direct

access to and from SW 128th Street and to Tamiami Airport

• SW 128th Street is widened to a 5-lane section (2 lanes in each direction with a continuous 2-way turn lane in the median

• Extends SW 127th Avenue from SW 128th Street to SW 124th Street

• Widens northbound SR 874 at Killian Parkway to provide three continuous lanes

• Partnership with Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) on portion of project within FTE’s right-of-way and with Miami-Dade County for SW 127th Avenue

• Estimated completion in 2021• Estimated cost $244.0 Million

Current ProjectsSR 836/I-95 Interchange Modifications (83611)• Provides direct access to Miami Beach and

southbound I-95 bypassing SR 836 mainline traffic via a 4-lane viaduct over the mainline of SR 836 east of the tolling zone

• Widens the eastbound SR 836 to northbound I-95 ramp to two lanes, and provides direct access from I-95 southbound to the Health District and westbound SR 836 eliminating the current weaving conditions

• Addresses the safety, mobility, and community needs in the project area

• Partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”)

• Estimated completion in Sep. 2023• Estimated cost $115.5 Million

83618-001-021 – SR 836 Southwest Extension/ Kendall Parkway• PROJECT COMPONENTS:

• Mainline Segments 1, 2, 3 and 4, • Widening of the existing SR 836 extension;

• Improvements to 137th Avenue, Bird Road, Kendall Drive, SW 104th Street, SW 120th Street and SW 136th

Street; • Two transit stations and park & ride facilities; and • Multi-use recreational trail

• Provides the residents in the western portion of the County another transportation option

• Estimated cost $1.0 Billion

83634-001/002 – SR 836 HEFT Ramp Connections• New ramps from eastbound SR 836 to northbound HEFT and

southbound HEFT to westbound SR 836• Southbound HEFT Express Lanes to westbound SR 836 ramp

bridge, funded by Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), to provide direct access to westbound SR 836 for future FTE southbound Express Lane users

• Provides direct connection between SR 836 and HEFT to facilitate travel between the southwest and northwest areas of the county

• Removes 7,100 vehicles from the adjacent roadway network• Estimated cost $57.4 Million ($15 Million by FTE)

87413-000 – SR 874/SW 72nd Street Interchange

• New partial interchange at SR 874 and SW 72nd Street

• Provides access to SR 874 and the highway system connected to SR 874

• Reduces congestion at key intersections along SW 72nd Street

• Estimated cost $11.3 Million

92408-001/2 – SR 924 Partial Interchange at 67th Avenue

• New westbound on-ramp and off-ramp on SR 924 at NW 67th Avenue and new eastbound on-ramp from NW 67th Avenue

• Provides congestion relief to Miami Lakes and Hialeah by providing additional traffic movements at SR 924 and NW 67th Avenue

• Estimated cost $32.4 Million

92404-001 – SR 924 Extension West to the HEFT

• Segment 1 - 107th Ave. to HEFT including feasibility analysis for a potential ramp at 87th Ave., Segment 2 - 97th Ave. to 107th Ave., and Segment 3 - 97th Ave. to SR 826. Funding included is for Design-Build of Segment 1 and Segment 2

• Provides connectivity to the HEFT from SR 924 and NW 138 Street

• Access to major activity and employment centers in NW Miami-Dade

• Travel time reduced from 20 minutes to 4 minutes from NW 138 St. to HEFT

• 30% increase in vehicles utilizing the corridor

• Estimated project total $175.0 Million

• Enhances transit operations by providing a direct connection to SW 70th Avenue in the vicinity of SW 84th Street
