would like to personally thank our HOA members for organizing

32nd anniversary of this national event.

Most of you have probably noticed the sidewalk repair going

on in Green Tee. We would like to thank the City of Pearland for

making these repairs a priority in our neighborhood.

Picture L to R: Eric Wilson, Director of Public Works; Neil

West, Community Liaison; Chris Brooks, Brooks Concrete; Junior

Barrera, Drainage Supervisor; Juan Rios, Supervisor; and City of

    Pearland Crew members.

Province Village, a new residential development off Country

Club Drive, will be approximately 86 single family homes with Gehan

being the builder. The price range for the homes is estimated to be in the $275k+ range. Below is a copy of

the design plan and a model home.

Noteworthy………….The City of Pearland has approved the construction of a convenience store on FM 518 just west of Country Club Drive and a driveway that will run behind the Antiques, Beads & Crafts Building and

open onto Country Club Drive. The driveway will undoubtedly cause damage to the line of light poles on the

west side of Country Club Drive and the electrical power to them. The City has also approved for the

convenience store’s detention pond to overflow ("emergency drain") onto Country Club Drive in the same area

that Country Club Drive already floods after heavy rains. You can voice your opinion with the Projects Division

    at www.pearlandtx.org or call 281-652-1600.

Year to date revenue is a few thousand dollars in excess of what we had

budgeted. In spite of a few unexpected repair projects, expenses are slightly less

than budget. Our revenue in excess of expenses is approximately $5,000 more than

budgeted at this point in the year.

  • Beautification and Maintenance: Claire Ludwig, Sally Hecker, Gail Grohman, Brad Durret & Diane Lister Record heat and minimal rain did not stop Green Tee Homeowners yards from flourishing this summer.

Congratulations to GTTHA ‘Yard of the Month’ winners:

Santa and his reindeer are on their way….. GTTHA would like to invite everyone to decorate their homes for the holidays. The Christmas Light

competition recognizes residents for an outstanding job of decorating their homes during the holidays for

everyone to enjoy. Contest categories will be Most Beautiful, Most Original, Best Religious, Funniest, and

    Santa’s Favorite.

To show appreciation, Santa and his reindeer will be placing signs in the winning yards, giving a $25.00

gift certificate, and acknowledgement published in GTTHA’s first quarterly newsletter for 2016.

Homeowners are asked to have their yards decorated to coincide with KPB Tour De Lights family bicycle

and hayride, a 90-minute ride through Green Tee, which is scheduled for December 12th, starting at 7:00 pm.

For more information on Tour De Lights visit www.mykpb.org.

  • Traffic and Security: Terrie Morgan

Pearland Police Officer Chris Robertson continues to provide security for Green Tee. He continues to spend

time along the Clear Creek area in an effort to curtail activity regarding ATV's and dirt bikes. He was pleased to

report Green Tee enjoyed a relatively quiet summer in comparison to some of the surrounding neighborhoods. He

noted it may not have been crime free, but it was better than the rest.

The majority of the activity in Green Tee was false burglar alarms. For the past three months there have

only been two thefts , two acts of vandalism, four trespassing incidents and a few civil matters. Officer Robinson

continues to monitor traffic complaints and issue citations for illegally parked cars.

    News You Can Use…..

TxDot and HGAC are working with the City of

Pearland on an extension of a 10-foot hike and bike trail

from the Pearland Library/City Hall to Barry Rose along

Clear Creek Corridor. The project includes benches, bike

racks, trail signage, trash receptacles, water fountains,

shade structures, and pedestrian bridge over Clear Creek.

The total project, still in design stage, is going to be

roughly 4.1 million, of which 80% the City is obtaining

federal matching funds. Therefore, the City is only

funding 20% of the project. We will keep you updated as

the Green Tee Trail moves further along.
