Differential Oil Change - Front and Rear Axle

All AMGs for above 463 models with locking differential code 471, require service: "Rear axle: Change oil" once at 2000 miles and if differential is replaced. This operation is not automatically in the vehicle-specific WIS service sheets and is done once for front and rear axle.

1. The label (Figure 1) is should be on the windshield of affected vehicles.

2. Service overviews can also be used to determine if a vehicle is affected. Enter a 6-digit chassis (Figure 2) or VIN in WIS and check under the option "All maintenance documents."

This bulletin has been created and maintained in accordance with MBUSA-SLP S423QH001 , Document and Data Control , and MBUSA-SLP S424HH001, Control of Quality Records.
