We’re so happy to be able to continue to deliver over 100 free and low-cost activities in the Active and Healthy program. You’ll see that this booklet has a range of communities favourite men inspired activities that we hope you’ll love and enjoy.

Keeping both physically and mentally fit and healthy has never been so important. Regular exercise can have a positive impact on depression and anxiety. It also relieves stress, improves memory, helps you sleep better and boosts your overall mood.

The Active and Healthy program is also a great way to socialize and meet new friends in your local community. The program is very affordable as most activities cost only $5 per person or less.

The Active and Healthy program is delivered with enhanced safety and social distancing measures in line with Queensland Government regulations. Some activities may have smaller numbers so that providers can meet Queensland Government guidelines. Please follow any rules or guidelines set by the health authorities and Active and Healthy providers so that we can all stay safe and healthy.

We appreciate your understanding and patience.

If you have any questions about an Active and Healthy activity, please contact the activity provider directly as each activity is different.

Things may change so please check our website (logan.qld.gov.au/livewell) to keep up-to-date. We also encourage you to sign up to our Active and Healthy e-newsletter so that you’ll be the first to know of any program changes. You can sign up by visiting logan.qld.gov.au/subscribelwl

We hope you enjoy the program. Stay safe and healthy, and remember to live well, Logan.

Thanks, The Active and Healthy team
