    Background

    Each year, Net Impact sends out a MembershipSurvey to evaluate our progress, obtain key metrics,and identify areas for improvement

    Membership survey was conducted electronically inApril, 2007; the survey was sent to the entire NetImpact newsletter list (13,000+)

    This year, Net Impact utilized an external survey

    consultant, resulting in changes for some of our scalesand questions

    Highlights: 2007 themes

    2007 saw ratings increase in a number of key categories; there were nodecreases, though some ratings remained constant

    Survey responses indicate that people using Net Impact resources rate themhighly; however, many are unaware or choose not to use these same resources

    One major theme we heard was for more local events. Net Impact will work onadditional ways to support local chapters on events for 2007 - 2008

    Other opportunity areas include

    - More job postings Net Impact is currently hiring additional staff to boost this area

    - Greater support internationally Net Impact is hiring a European staff person to do thisin Europe, with plans to explore options for other part of the world
