Motivate Europe Live App - Overview

The Motivate Europe Live 2015 app is an essential tool for users to navigate the show, network and share information with other delegates and exhibitors. Among its features, the app provides access to a live agenda, exhibition maps and speaker biographies and has been developed to help everyone engage and interact before, during and after the show.

Research the show using the web app

Access the web app at: event.crowdcompass.com/motivate-europe-live

In order to research the show before you arrive it is best to access the web app from a desktop or laptop PC for ease of use. The web app can also be used for Windows and BlackBerry devices.

The show content can be viewed without logging in.

But, to use the networking features you need to login.* Login in at the top right of your screen.

Download the app - iOS & Android devices

Before you arrive at the show download the Motivate Europe Live 2015 app for iOS devices (iPhone/iPad) and Android phones and tablets. The App name is “MEL2015”. N.B. Bandwidth is limited at the show for onsite downloads. From your phone connect to your correct appstore via https://motivateeuropelive.com/app In the run up to and during the show, all the latest news and updates will only be posted to the app, and not the main Motivate Europe Live website.

Login - top of main menu

Prior to logging in to the app for the first time you will need to register to attend Motivate Europe Live 2015. Once registered a registration confirmation number will be sent by email as part of the registration process. Example confirmation number: PBN35CSKQV6 You will then be able to login* to the app using your registration confirmation code and the email address or the name used to register. *Please wait 30 minutes after registration to login to the app for the first time while our system updates and recognises your confirmation number.

View your account, user profile or log out

Once logged in you will be able to build out your attendee profile. You can add details such as: • LinkedIn profile • Twitter account • Profile photograph • Contact details

Set your profile to public

We highly recommend that you make your profile public in order to fully utilise the functionalities of the app and to network and set up meetings with other attendees. You can change your profile status to ‘public’ within the Profile Settings of your account by: 1. Clicking your name and then selecting 'Profile' 2. Untick the box 'Set Profile to Private'

Menu - My Information

By selecting the menu button of the app you will be able to view your own personal event information. This section allows you to view your personal schedule of bookmarked sessions you would like to attend, in-app messages received from other delegates, contacts you have made at the show and any notes that you have made during Motivate Europe Live.

Agenda

View all the keynote sessions taking place at the show and filter by day, location, stream or by speaker in addition to viewing the entire event schedule. When browsing the agenda you can also bookmark sessions you want to attend or that look interesting for you to review later.

Speakers

Speaker profiles can be viewed directly within a session or from the Speakers icon on the app homepage. Each speaker profile includes an image, biography and any additional images or documents associated with the speaker session. Here you can easily bookmark your favourite speakers and even write your own notes within the speaker profiles.

Exhibitors

The event’s exhibitors are organised alphabetically by company name or by category. Within each profile, attendees can find the following information: • Exhibitor name • Stand number • Exhibitor contact information • Exhibitor company description • Useful links There is also a useful notes section where you can record any information you wish to add.

Maps

The exhibition floorplan is displayed, to help visitors identify session locations, exhibitor or sponsor stands and important common areas. There is also a useful Location map to locate ExCeL London exhibition centre.

Sponsors & Partners

Sponsor & Partner information can be found within the app. Within each profile, you can find the following information: • Sponsor/Partner name • Sponsor/Partner stand number • Sponsor/Partner contact information • Sponsor/Partner company description • Sponsor/Partner useful links You can also use the notes section to record any information you wish to add.

Attendee Networking

Attendee Networking makes it simple for users to communicate instantly and be social. You can use the app to connect to other attendees, send in-app messages to set up meetings and view attendee profiles, contact details and social media details. Message threads are saved for each attendee, making it easy to manage conversations and save shared contact details as appropriate. You can also use the notes section to record any information you wish to add.

Scan a Badge - For informal one-to-one delegate networking:

add contact, make notes, export to phone contacts

* NB Contacts scanned are not backed up unless you transfer to your phone contacts – not suitable for formal lead management

Delegates are able to swap basic contact information by using the scan badge option of the app. By scanning another delegate’s badge, limited contact information will be shared and added to your phone’s contact list.*
