Alt Penedès is a region brimming with traditions and wide-ranging heritage, cuisine and geography. It is located just 40 minutes from Barcelona and 30 minutes from

the beautiful coastal resort of Sitges. The influence of the sun and the Mediterranean Sea make Penedès a privileged area where the Codorníu winery – declared national

artistic-historical heritage in 1976 – is particularly prominent. This unique venue can be found amongst a sea of vines, belonging to the longest-standing family

business in Spain. A business with over 450 years of history. Its buildings, outstanding examples of

Modernist architecture, will be sure to make your event authentic, unique and memorable. The diversity of Codorníu’s indoor and outdoor spaces, alongside

their versatility, allow us to adapt to every client’s needs. The Codorníu team is deeply committed to customer service and to achieving client satisfaction.

from the local area.

The Codorníu winery is deeply committed to both respecting the environment and to high quality standards. Our wine-making activity uses sustainable agriculture

techniques, minimises the use of chemical products, rationalises water resources and cares for the natural ecosystems where vines are grown. We have reduced the weight of our bottles and, consequently, the impact of our carbon footprint; we use recyclable

materials and manage our energy and waste following environmental criteria. With regard to Business Tourism, Codorníu is considered “Premium” by the Catalan

Tourism Agency. Here are the quality seals awarded to us:

The Codorníu Winery is located just 40 minutes from Barcelona and 30 minutes from the city’s airport. Only a few kilometres from the winery, we can find

shopping areas, golf courses and beach resorts, where you can spend time relaxing.

Codorníu offers this unique venue to hold your event: a banquet, a convention, a product launch, a meeting, a tasting, etc.

Celler Gran is a Codorníu emblematic space that has been recognised as a masterpiece of Modernism. This architectural legacy left by Puig i Cadafalch to

Codorníu was declared National Monument of Historic and Artistic Interest in 1976.

Celler Gran, located at a lower floor, was the old fermentation room of Codorníu musts. It is a unique space of over a thousand square meters, sheltered under a Catalan vault and divided into three arched naves. It is an ideal place for banquets, cocktails, meetings,

exhibitions, product launches, etc.

The Museum, as well as the Celler Gran, also represents a landmark space of Codorníu for its recognition as jewel of Modernism. The architectural legacy left by Puig i

Cadafalch to Codorníu is National Historical and Artistic Heritage since 1976.

Just touching the garden, there is the banquet room where since the 70s used to receive and press grapes. Currently, this open space with fantastic views

to the garden is an ideal place to receive guests.

Sala Puig

A symphony of arches welcomes us to Puig i Cadafalch Room. This area was declared National Monument in 1976 along with the wineries and the old location of the dams,

currently transformed into a museum.

Its serene viewing invites to silence and meditation. Its huge dimensions make people paradoxically live feelings of intimacy and seclusion. In an almost reverential

way, visitors let their gaze wander from one arcade to another; from the vigorous doors to the sparkling polychrome crystals, and from the reddish ceiling to the austere

ceramic floor.

A family meeting, a cocktail, a stag party or a banquet… Puig Room is the perfect space for your most intimate and welcoming events.

The Capitular Room is an old underground cellar, rustic and yet very stately. It is a perfect indoor space to hold family meetings, stag parties, cocktails,

This space has a modern design, a vast bar, six barrels used as tables, a photo-call area and other original components to decorate the room.

Anna Space

The Anna Space is the Codorníu wine cellars’ most innovative, fresh and ground-breaking area. It has an adjoining terrace, which perfectly complements

the indoor space.

Anna de Codorníu was alive in the 16th century, a member of a family of winegrowers presided over by Jaume Codorníu. A document from the time demonstrates that, as early as in 1551, the family owned presses, barrels and tanks for producing wine. 1659 was a year defined by the marriage

between Anna - heiress to the Codorníu dynasty - and Miquel Raventós. This ceremony joined two wine-growing stories for all time and laid the

foundations for the current Codorníu winery.

Catalonia Cellar

The Catalonia Cellar space is a tribute to the work carried out in wine cellars in the mid-20th century, at a time when storing, cutting open and turning bottles

were some of the most common trades in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia.

This space is formed of two different areas with original oak casks for use as auxiliary tables, a bar, a table and decorative items inspired by advertising

from the past century.

Plaza Mayor

The Main Square (Plaza Mayor) is an outdoor space of great capacity located just behind the original residence of Codorníu Raventós family, the farmhouse

known as “Mas d’Anoia”.

The space is mainly composed of an area of trees and another paved area. Ideal for banquets, outdoor activities, shows, entertainment…

Plaza Mayor has beautiful views of the nearby mountains and of Montserrat Mountain Range, as well as the spectacular architecture of Codorníu.

Anna Terrace

The Anna Terrace is a pretty open-air space looking out over Codorníu’s gardens and the Codorníu family house, designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch.

Its porticoes allow for the elongated space to be covered, offering greaterprotection but without affecting the space’s brightness and character.

Outdoor Museum

From outside the Museum, visitors can admire the gardens and three of the four modernist works built by Puig i Cadafalch at Codorníu. They were declared

National Monument of Historic and Artistic Interest in 1976 and they are an architectural gem of Modernism.

If you choose this room, your event will have as a backdrop the Museum facade which reminds of Casa Amatller, another renowned work of Catalan Modernism.

This is definitely a unique and emblematic space of the winery; an unrivalled setting that will not leave your guests indifferent.

Modernist and Mediterranean forest

Aside from well-tended gardens, in Codorníu’s vast grounds we can find a forest area, with trees typical of the Mediterranean climate. From the forest,

visitors can contemplate the external architecture of the winery’s Modernist buildings and its carefully-kept plants.

This space is ideal for organising open-air events, getting away from it all

and enjoying the sun and nature.

The garden is located directly opposite the Tower where the Raventós family lived, a building which showcases Puig i Cadafalch’s characteristic modernist style and has been declared a National Historical-Artistic Monument. It also offers incredible views

The Pergola is a magnificent outdoor space, found next to the Codorníu family’s former summer house, which dates back to the 15th century. This space boasts

privileged views of the modernist Tower, the Main Square and Codorníu’s incredible natural surroundings, in the Penedès region.

This outdoor location is the perfect setting for an open-air tasting.

being held. We accept cash or card payments and, for the purposes of convenience, purchases can be collected when leaving. The mobile shop service has no extra cost and is available on prior request.

BARREL TABLES We have several barrels which can be used as support tables in any of our outdoor spaces or in the

Celler Gran.

SUN UMBRELLAS If you wish, we can incorporate a number of sun umbrellas to decorate our outdoor spaces, making

your time there even more pleasant.

DECORATIVE LED CANDLES LED candles are a safe alternative to traditional candles. They can be placed amongst barrels to give

the Celler Gran a magical effect.

BATH SET Include a bath set to add personality to your event. Uvas Frescas® organic products are made with

grape seed oil.

FURTHER SERVICES Cloakroom, microphone, screens and projectors, audiovisual filming, photography, furniture, WiFi,

lighting, transport, security, interpreting, stewards/stewardesses, wine specialists and heaters.

EVENT CANCELLATION

In order to comply with the provisions of Article 24 of Law 31/1995 on the prevention of

workplace risks, and Royal Decree 171/2004 which develops upon this, self-employed

workers and companies, whether directly hired or sub-contracted by third parties, who

carry out activities on the CODORNÍU premises, shall provide the following documents to

our Prevention Service, always in advance of the start of work.

1. List of workers (with National Identification Number) who will access the CODORNÍU

facilities.

2. Evaluation of risks and preventative planning applicable to the activities which will be

undertaken on the CODORNÍU premises.

3. Certificates proving that the workers who will access the CODORNÍU facilities have

been trained in and informed about prevention.

4. Certificates proving the medical aptitude of workers who will access the CODORNÍU

premises.

5. Certificates proving that PPE has been provided to workers who will access the

CODORNÍU facilities.

6. Compliance certificates for the machines used by the external company’s staff or by the

self-employed worker on the CODORNÍU premises.

– Hiring of the space for the agreed period of time.

– Staff as necessary for correct running of the event, and for assembly and dismantling.

– Heating and air-conditioning for the space.

– Consumption: running water and electricity.

When holding events on our premises, the wine and cava consumed / given as gifts must

be from the Codorníu Raventós Winery and Vineyards Group.

The space selected by the client will be considered fully reserved only when the hiring

contract is signed and 30% of the total hire price is paid in advance. One week prior to

the event, the full amount must have been paid.

Within the 5 months prior to the event date, the payment and deposit will not be

reimbursed. Within 5 and 9 months prior to the event date, 50% of the payment and

deposit will be reimbursed. Over 9 months prior to the event date, the payment and

deposit will be reimbursed but bank fees will not.

Should another client be interested in the same space during the temporary reservation

period, Codorníu will communicate this and you will have 72 hours to make your payment

and leave your deposit.
