The workshop aims at providing a forum for discussion between stakeholders, experts from the private sector, as well as from the public domain, to share knowledge and experience from the field of biosimilars and to formulate recommendations on national and regional level towards increasing smart specialization, competitiveness and strengthening the regional integration into European research and innovation programs. Topics will include:
• Biosimilar and generic pharmaceutical development• Local manufacturing• Smart specialization• Technology transfer
Participants
• Attendance is by invitation. A limited number of seats will be available for scientists and policy makers involved inbiopharmaceutical R&D and willing to present their current research/work
• Interested participants must apply online including their CV and motivation letter
Funding
• A limited number of grants to cover accommodation and meals will be available for selected participants holdingstrategic positions in government, educational and industry institutions who are nationals of an ICGEB Member State
• The grant will cover transport costs and hotel accommodation
