Participant s will gain informatics skills and experience needed to analyze cancer-omics data from genomics and transcriptomic perspective. Topics will include: Cancer databases navigation and working with its data sets Cancer-omics data analysis for gene expression, genome rearrangement, somatic mutations, and copy number variation Cancer pathway data analysis methods Clinical data and omics data integration Networks in systems biology analysis Introduction to drug design and discovery Best practices in cancer omics data and workflow management Machine Learning for cancer research Ethics of data usage and security Participants This course is intended for clinical researchers, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students working in the cancer research field Admittance is limited to 40 participants Interested participants must provide a proof of experience on basic bioinformatics knowledge (certificate) Registrations will be accepted on first-come, first-served basis and will only be considered complete upon receipt of the relevant payment.
