What is the Grange?
* Who are we? Gardeners, people who care where our food comes from, and interested in Tualatin. We represent many professions: teacher, librarian, minister, pilot, contractor, travel agent, retired military, business professionals, and, yes, real farmers.
Join Us* at Tualatin’s Winona Grange
Winona Grange meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at 11 am, preceded by a pot-luck brunch at 10 am. We welcome visitors! Mail to: PO Box 3484, Tualatin, OR 97062 Email: [email protected] Check out our websites: www.winonagrange271.org www.orgrange.org www.nationalgrage.org 9/2015

What Winona Grange Does
We Serve our Local Community Winona Grange actively supports Tualatin’s Schoolhouse Food Pantry by donating excess produce from our gardens and non-perishable goods.
Our garden seed distribution project provides vegetable, herb, and flower seed packets to other Granges, community gardens, and groups learning to garden.
We support community gardens including Hilltop Community Garden, Neighbors Nourishing Communities, and the garden program at M.I.T.C.H. Charter School.
Winona Grange presents dictionaries to third grade students at M.I.T.C.H. Charter School. Each child keeps the book for future use.
Prior to Memorial Day ceremonies at Winona Cemetery, we clean the grounds and the headstones of our former members.
These are a few examples. We are always looking to fill needs in our community and are open to your suggestions.
We Open our Doors
For our spring Garden Party we partner with Master Gardeners, who provide information on planting, pests, and new techniques.
Our Harvest Festival typically combines a community potluck with entertainment for the whole family.
Our Hall is a Community Center Various groups rent our hall for dances, meetings, religious services, and public events. The upstairs has a hard maple dance floor and excellent acoustics. A full kitchen is on the first floor. Restrooms are handicapped accessible.
To rent the hall for your event, see our website www.winonagrange271.org or contact [email protected].
Winona Grange Mission The Mission of Winona Grange, chartered in Tualatin, Oregon in 1895, is to provide opportunities for involvement and leadership in community service, for individuals and families; to maintain our local advocacy for agriculture; and to welcome the community into our Grange Hall for a wide variety of educational and social events, portraying our traditional American family values.
