South Padre Island is situated on the southern tip of Texas. It is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico on the east and the Laguna Madre Bay on the west and is linked to the mainland by the 2 1/2 mile Queen Isabella Memorial Bridge. The Island is home to approximately 5000 year-round residents who welcome the thousands of tourists and conventioneers who visit yearly.

The South Padre Island Convention Centre, with its breathtaking view of the Laguna Madre Bay, o�ers 45,000 square feet of meeting space that can be utilized in a variety of con�gurations. Primary facilities include 22,500 square feet of Exhibit Hall space with a clear ceiling height of 36 feet for large meetings and sporting events; a 2,633 square feet conference auditorium for 230; and 9,000 square feet of breakout space.
A large central Lobby will also house exhibits and functions. The Sunset Terrace adjoins the Lobby and provides the perfect setting for an outside reception. The opportunity to see kiteboarders, sailing vessels, a multitude of bird species and dramatic sunsets will certainly amaze attendees. The glass walled vestibule, at the entrance of the Lobby, provides a covered arrival and waiting area.
The Convention Centre team serves meetings, conventions, conferences, trade shows, exhibits and special events. They also provide personal attention for each and every event.
