1.Who would be your main target audience?.My main target audience would be people aged from 16-30, this would be because this is the most occurring age I found, but also the closet age to myself so i get a better understanding of popular music demand for my age. The gender of my target audience would be both males and females as pop music isn't targeted at one specific gender but to both. The ethnic background would be White British, this is because I found this as the most common ethnic background which I gathered from my target research. The research which I found also showed that their favourite music channels were chart show TV, MTV and Starz music channels, in my personal opinion I would associate with these channels to include the majority of Pop music songs.

How is your video going to appeal to your target audience?

My video is going to appeal to my target audience because i will try and relate my video as my as to the feedback which I received from my target audience questionnaire. The song which i will choose will be a Pop music songs perhaps with elements of Dubstep and rock as these were shown to be the favourite music genre but also because these can be shown under popular music categories. The video which i am going to produce will be use positive colours as my target audience research shows that bright colours are shown in pop music videos, therefore will make it more appealing to my target audience. The video which i will produce will tell as story, as the video type which my target audience chose to be in a pop music video was a narrative video, this is where the video tells a story, The target audience feedback showed that the narrative video was shown the most in a pop music video so i will choose this to make it appeal to my target audience.
