About Encore: Encore Vocal Ensemble is San Diego’s go-to choral group for quality, entertaining performances of musical theatre at a great value. Through mainstage and community performances, and a robust schedule of master classes, Encore members share their love of live performance with the San Diego region while expanding their capabilities as performers. Led by acclaimed Artistic Director Tim McKnight, Encore is recognized for its professional quality of performances and brings together a talented group of more than 50 singers, dancers, and actors who are looking to further improve their musicianship and give back to the community. Encore creates a safe space for singers of all backgrounds where diversity is celebrated and members support one another above all else. Mission Statement: Encore Vocal Ensemble of San Diego creates dynamic musical experiences in the modern musical theatre and film genre while acting as a forum for musicians to share their vocal talents with our community. Bio: Kelly is a longtime San Diego resident who left briefly to work in Florida and Virginia. When she is not working as an off-air reporter, singing with Encore, at church, or hanging out with her dog Odie, she is on Mission Bay with the San Diego Rowing Club practicing for the next big regatta or lowering her erg score on land.

Bio: Terri is a Broadway baby who started venturing into singing/acting in local theatre in 2012. Being legally blind since the age of nine did not lend itself well to participating in these artistic adventures. Since taking the leap of faith to do so, she is happy to say that she is now part of some wonderful theatre groups and has been able to perform with lots of different people and venues.

Bio: Amanda is always looking for new artistic challenges and Encore provides just that. From teaching art in the day to performing at night, Amanda loves spending her life surrounded by the arts.

Bio: Lorie learned to sing as a child when she sang four-part harmony with her family after learning to sing in church. She majored in vocal music in college before embarking on a career in nursing.
