oth the midterm e3ams are compulsor!& Binal midterm e3amination mars for atotal of 0mars shall be arrived at" b! considering the 80C weightage (2 mars)

to that midterm e3amination in which the student scores more mars and the

remaining 20C (6 mars) for other midterm e3am&

and student is ased to answer an! 2 #uestions randoml! and shall be condensed

#uestion is obective and compulsor! and remaining two #uestions having internalchoice and shall be considered for 18 mars"an! fraction rounded off to the ne3thigher mar&

viva-voce shall be conducted b! a committee consisting of =ead of the

Jepartment" :roect .upervisor and an 3ternal 3aminer nominated b! the:rincipal from the panel of members proposed b! =ead of the Jepartment& ,he

 proect wor shall start in @E !ear @ semester and shall continue in the semester 

 brea&,he evaluation of proect wor shall be conducted at the end of the @E !ear 

@@ semester& ,he @nternal valuation shall be made on the basis of weel! progress(a minimum of 12 wees and mars for each wee progress) and at least two

seminars(one at the beginning of @E &,ech @@ semester (20 mars) and the other  before submission of proect wor(2 mars) given b! each student on the topic of 

his proect&

3v& ,he laborator! records and internal test papers shall be preserved for minimum of 2 !ears in the respective departments and shall be produced to the +ommittees of 

the college as and when the same are ased for&

7* Attendance Re8uireent!:

i& A student shall be eligible to appear for end e3aminations if he'she ac#uires a

minimum of 75C of attendance in aggregate of all the subects in a semester&

ii& S+ortage of Attendance ,elo- 7%9 in aggregate !+all in N ca!e ,e

condoned&

iii& +ondonation of shortage of attendance in aggregate up to 10C (65C and above

and below 75C) in each semester ma! be granted b! the +ollege Academic

+ommittee&

iv& .tudents whose shortage of attendance is not condoned in an! semester are not

eligible to tae their end e3amination of that class and their registration shall stand

cancelled&

v& A student will not be promoted to the ne3t semester unless he satisfies the

attendance re#uirements of the present semester" as applicable& ,he! ma! see 

readmission for that semester when offered ne3t&

vi& A stipulated fee shall be pa!able towards condonation of shortage of attendance tothe college&

vii& A weightage in sessional mars uptoa ma3imum of 5 mars out of 0 mars in

each theor! subect shall be given for those students who put in a minimum of 

75C attendance in the respective subect in a graded manner as indicated below&

Attendance of 90C and above 5mars

Attendance of 85C and above and less than 90C mars

Attendance of 80C and above and less than 85C 2mars

i& A student who could not secure a minimum of 50C aggregate from midterme3amination mars is not eligible to appear for the semester end e3amination and

shall have to repeat that semester&

ii& A student shall be deemed to have satisfied the minimum academic re#uirementsand earned the credits allotted to each theor!" design" drawing subect or proect if 

he secures not less than 0C of mars in the semester end e3amination& @n the

internship proect he'she should secure 0C& Bor practical e3amination if he

secures not less than 50C of mars in the semester end e3amination&iii& A student shall be promoted from @ to @@ !ear onl! if he'she fulfils the academic

re#uirements of attendance and internal mars as stipulated in clause 6 and 7

irrespective of bac log subects in @'@E &,ech&iv& A student shall be promoted from @@ to @@@ !ear onl! if he'she fulfils the academic

re#uirements of attendance and internal mars as stipulated in clause 6 and 7 and

also mustsecure70C of the creditsof the subects that have been studied up to @!ear @@ semester from

irrespective of whether the candidate taes the end e3amination or not as per the

normal course of stud!& At the time of commencement of calss wor" he mustattain the re #uired credits

v& A student shall be promoted from third !ear to fourth !ear onl! if he fulfills theacademic re#uirements of of attendance and internal mars as stipulated in clause
