Motorola MC70 with Biometric Attachment

The biometric attachment with optional contact and contactless smart card readers is well-suited or identity

management applications. A FIPS 201 certied ngerprint sensor supplies the highest quality images within

a variety o lighting conditions. With the available ISO compliant contact and contactless smart card readers,

this attachment is positioned or emerging security applications such as TWIC, PIV, CAC, FRAC, ePassports,

eVisas and other biometric-enabled secure credentials.

The biometric attachment extends the ergonomic unctionality o its MC70 host. Additionally, the biometric

attachment maintains the overall MC70 environmental specications, including sealing (IP54), drop,

temperature and shock.

With the fagship MC70 Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA), this rugged, handheld incorporates a biometric

ngerprint reader, contact and contactless card reader, mobile phone, PDA, computer, scanner and imager

in an ergonomic device designed or the rigors o in-the-eld, all day usage. Its robust capabilities and

cost-eective anytime, anywhere data connectivity makes this solution well-suited or border crossings,

remote eld operations, trac stops, sporting events or commercial security applications. The MC70 is
