Calling All Gardeners!

The Chester County Library is starting a vegetable garden to benefit the Chester County Food Bank which serves needy families all over

Chester County. Our garden will be small this year (2 raised beds), but hopefully it will yield a good amount of vegetables!

Throughout the growing season, we will need volunteers to help with maintenance tasks such as watering, weeding and planting. The garden will be small, so any amount of time you can give will be a great service

to our neighbors in need. The Food Bank is asking us to donate 60% of what we grow with the remaining 40% to be distributed to the volunteer gardeners.

Are you interested? No prior gardening experience is needed! Polish your green thumbs and consider coming out to help. If you would like to help with the garden, please contact Mary Ann Byrne at 610-280-2612 or email [email protected].

Thursday, July 23, 6:30-7:30 p.m.Exercising with Your Dog
