The Stockton facility has been in existence since 1950 and manufactures seating control systems (seat tracks and recliner assemblies) with our main customers being Johnson Controls and Lear Corporation who make the complete automotive seats. Dura-Stockton will build, assemble and ship out more than 4,300,000 final assemblies in 2010 and will maintain the highest level of customer quality standards. The three shift operation is one of the largest employers of Jo Davies County with currently 320 employees working in jobs ranging from entry level assembler assignments to specialized jobs such as roll-mill operator, metal stamping press operator and welders. Dura Stockton is a vertically integrated facility with stamping, roll-mill operations, welding, an autophoretic paint line and assembly. Dura Stockton has been TS16949/QS9000 registered since 1999 and ISO14001 environmental registered since 2003. Steve Clay has been a Quality Engineer at Dura-Stockton since 2000 and before that worked in the quality field at EGS Appleton Electric, a division of Emerson Electric for 24 years in both Milwaukee, WI and Columbus, NE. Steve has a degree in business and is an ASQ certified Quality Auditor since 1997. Steve once served as an auditor for the Nebraska Edgerton State Quality Award and taught ISO9001 classes at Central Community College in Nebraska. Steve is currently the lead auditor for Dura-Stockton for both TS16949 and ISO14001. Coming into the automotive industry was a huge awakening for Steve as there is such a huge increase in reaction time to any customer concerns and/or complaints. Ken Bilderback has been Quality Manager at Dura-Stockton since 2000 and before that worked at John Deere from 1960-1992. Between 1992 and 2000 Ken worked as a consultant and taught numerous classes at Clinton Community College, Highland Community College, Scott County Community College and Muscatine Community College including classes in SPC and GD&T. Ken has also served in the United States Marine Corp for five (5) years. Ken is an ASQ certified Quality Manager and Quality Auditor. THEIR OPPORTUNITY - Our client has an opportunity for a Quality Engineer. You will work with engineers and as part of cross-functional product development team. The team is responsible to ensure APQP activities are being executed in accordance with defined requirements of OEM customers such as Ford, Chrysler, GM and Cummins. You will be a key contributor to the team, personally putting together gauging, control and mistake proofing plans. You will work closely with their supplier quality engineer to ensure sourced components for new and existing programs are produced in a manner, which guarantees 25ppm or less quality and delivery. They will look to you to review supplier control plans and provide value added improvements where you see opportunities to do so. You will get to lead meaningful DFMEA and PFMEA exercises with cross-functional teams and then independently review the results with customer supplier development personnel.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering · 3-5 years working in a quality group in a Quality Engineering role· Experience working with precision machined components and medium level complexity assemblies

(10 to 20 parts making up an assembly). Good examples are small to mid size pumps, motors and electromagnetic devices

· Works with TS16949 Automotive Quality Systems and knows what is needed to satisfy customer and certification audits

· Comfortable executing capability studies on components and assemblies · Fluent in GD&T and can read and understand GD&T drawings · Understands and can personally produce Gage R&R's · Comfortable working with data using mini-tab or similar tools · Solid problem solver who has a clear process for assessing a problem, developing an action plan, and

executing on the plan using data to identify and implement solutions
