of the new Matrix N offering for Factory Automation.

A complete Matrix N portfolio provides Datalogic with a strong value proposition of the

DL.CODE-based products are NOT cross-compatible with the existing VISISET products.

Datalogic Automation guarantees continuation to the Matrix Visiset offer at least for 2

DL.CODE models restrictions:

1. Existing Matrix products with VISISET software are not upgradable to DL.CODE

software

2. DL.CODE setup software communicates to the Matrix only via Ethernet

3. MATRIX N models display the DL.CODE logo, both on the product housing and

packaging.

4. DL.CODE software and product firmware will be available exclusively on

www.datalogic.com. The DVD is not included in standard product packaging, but can

be ordered under a separate PN:

CROSSOVER POLICY

Datalogic’s priority is the continued support of the existing business and protection of our

current customer’s investments. For this reason, a long cross-over period with the

existing VISISET products will be made available.

The long cross-over period is to guarantee simple install base maintenance, especially

where custom software exists.
