GONE STREAKING: The Dodgers continued their hot streak as they won their fifth consecutive game following a 12-0 shutout victory over the Mets last night, which was the largest margin of victory by the club this season. Los Angeles, which has won 11 of its last 12 contests since June 7 and leads the big leagues with a 19- 6 (.760) record since May 25, continue its nine-game homestand tonight (2-0) as they play the third game of a four-game set against the Mets. Following the series against New York, Los Angeles will continue its homestand with a weekend series against the Rockies and a two-game set against the Angels. With the shutout victory last night, Los Angeles has blanked opponents five times this season, which is the second most in the National League behind just the St. Louis Cardinals’ six shutout wins. In 18 games during the month of June, the Dodgers hold the second best record in the Major Leagues with a 13-5 mark (.722), trailing just the Rockies14-4 (.778) record. With the 12-run victory last night, the Dodgers are currently atop the Majors with a +114 run differential, taking the top spot from the Astros (+113). BOMB SQUAD: Corey Seager (3 HR), Cody Bellinger (1 HR) and Yasmani Grandal (1 HR) provided the Dodgers with a season- high tying five home runs last night, which were the most since recoding five longballs on April 29 against the Phillies. The club has stroked 27 home runs in its last 10 games and according the Stats LLC., it is the most homers hit in Dodger franchise history during a 10-game span. It is also the most homers recorded by a big league club in a 10-game span since the Nationals hit 27 in 2012. The Dodgers have recorded at least four home runs in each of their last three home games, which according to Elias Sports Bureau, tied the Major League record for consecutive home games hitting at least four longballs. The feat, which has been accomplished six previous times, was most recently done by the Yankees earlier this season (April 19-29). Los Angeles is averaging 1.57 home runs per game at Dodger Stadium this year (58 HR/37 G), its most in Stadium history. The team’s previous high was 1.33 HR/G in 2000 (108 HR/81 G). HILL-TOPPER: The Dodgers will send veteran southpaw Rich Hill to the mound tonight for his ninth start of the season, as he seeks his fourth win of the year. Hill has gone 3-3 with a 5.14 ERA (20 ER/35.0 IP) in eight starts this season, while striking out 35 batters in 35.0 innings. Since joining the Dodgers last season, Hill has gone 4-3 with a 2.65 ERA (10 ER/34.0 IP) in seven starts at Dodger Stadium. He has struck out 34 batters against 18 walks, while holding the opposition to a .208 average at home. Bellinger extended his National League leading home run total to 22, with a two-run blast in the first inning in last night’s contest. Bellinger has recorded 10 homers in his last 10 games, becoming just the second Dodger in franchise history to record 10 longballs in 10 contests, joining Shawn Green (May 2002) and became the only rookie in Major League history to accomplish the feat. He also becomes the last player in the big leagues to hit 10 homers in 10 games since Troy Tulowitzki, who hit 11 bombs in 10 games from Sept. 8-18, 2010 with the Rockies. Since his promotion on April 25, Bellinger leads the Majors in home runs, RBI (49) and home runs per at bat (8.91), while ranking third in slugging percentage (.726). He is also hitting .270 (53-for-196) with 40 runs scored, 10 doubles and a triple, along with a .342 on-base percentage in 52 games this season. GONE STREAKING: The Dodgers continued their hot streak as

they won their fifth consecutive game following a 12-0 shutout

victory over the Mets last night, which was the largest margin of

victory by the club this season. Los Angeles, which has won 11 of

its last 12 contests since June 7 and leads the big leagues with a 19-

6 (.760) record since May 25, continue its nine-game homestand
