Review of The Master’s Plan

• The Master’s Plan provided a road map that is still relevant today.

• The TAG process confirmed Oakdale’s commitment to the goals outlined in The Master’s Plan.

• The committee recommends The Master’s Plan be updated and reviewed regularly so that it reflects the current church direction.

Pledge to “Park in the Park”

Parking will be an immediate issue this fall.

• 100 spaces = $250,000

• 100 pledges @ $50 per week = $250,000

• Golf cart to shuttle from remote parking.

• Parking ministry to manage parking.

Phase 1 (0-24 Months)

• Relocate staff to temporary buildings.• Create GA Ave Entrance.• Develop the Great Hall-Narthex-3rd Place.• Open flow to Brigham Hall.• Appropriate Rest Room facilities.• Expand main office for nursery/education.• Create office space on second floor with

meeting and technology areas.

Recommendations

The committee recommends the Council:

-accept the conceptual plan for facility development.

-educate the Oakdale membership.

-establish a building committee to begin Phase 1 planning.

-develop a capital campaign to fund Phase 1 and future projects.
