IIT Kharagpur, MHRM students being sought-after for leadershippositions in the industry has remained the norm for quite sometime now. Maintaining its legacy, this year too our students wereoffered various roles like Recruiting Specialist,Functional Consultant,Deputy Manager, HR Business Partner, Management Trainee- HR,HR Executive, HR Generalist etc. These various roles aim to positionour students at the forefront and redefine the industry benchmarksin the HR domain.

WOMEN TO THE FOREWith a total of 48. 6% of the batch of MHRM programmecomprising of women,our course has once again displayed howmuch it values diversity and the idea of equal opportunity. Anumber of roles were extended to women by reputedorganizations like IBM,Tata Power, ITIL etc. Aligning to this line ofthought, the management has been trying to maintain thediversity throughout the batches and encourage womencandidates to come forward to greater heights.

MHRM IIT Kharagpur witnessed another stellar placement seasonfor the outgoing batch of 2020. The final placement process sawparticipation from 14 different organizations and a total of 19offers were made for 15 students, where as the summerplacements had 13 organizations from diverse domains likeIT/ITES, Auto Services, Consulting,Manufacturing and FinancialServices participated in the final placement process.

The batch of 2018-20 was offered the highest package of 14 LPA forthe final placements and the batch of 2019-2021 was offered 2 Lakhsfor the summer placements which reinforces the faith of industryin MHRM IIT Kharagpur and its talent pool. Profiles offeredinclude Recruiting Specialist, Functional Consultant, DeputyManager,HR Business Partner, Management Trainee-HR, HRExecutive, HR Generalist etc.

What was heartening to see was the addition of a good number ofnew recruiters in addition to the recurring previous recruiters. ThePSU ITIL was the biggest recruiter which made 6 offers to thestudents of MHRM IIT Kharagpur.
