The summit of the Liturgical Year is the Easter Triduum—from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday. Though chronologically three days, they are liturgically one day unfolding for us the unity of Christ's Paschal Mystery. The single celebration of the Triduum marks the end of the Lenten season, and leads to the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil. The liturgical services that take place during the Triduum are: (1) Mass of the Lord's Supper, (2) Good Friday of the Lord's Passion and (3) Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord.

HOLY THURSDAY EUCHARISTIC VIGIL

8:00 PM-12:00 AM Holy Thursday is the commemoration of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, when he established and instituted the sacraments of the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood. On the night of Holy Thursday,

Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place where the faithful remain in the presence of the Eucharist just as the disciples kept a vigil with Christ. This year we will have the Eucharistic Vigil following the Mass of the Lord’s supper. The church will remain open until midnight and we need at least 5 people/families per hour to sign up and commit to pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament. The sign up sheet is found in the church vestibule or call Hugo at the parish office.

The FINAL EXAM for those Children preparing to

receive their First Communion will be Sunday, May 7th from 10:45 AM-11:45 AM.

The parish office will close on Thursday 13th at noon and will be closed all day Friday 14th and Monday 17th. Happy and safe Easter!!

La cumbre del Año Litúrgico es el Triduo Pascual-desde la noche del Jueves Santo hasta la noche del Domingo de Pascua. Aunque cronológicamente tres días, son litúrgicamente un día desarrollándose para nosotros la unidad del Misterio Pascual de Cristo. La celebración única del Triduo marca el final de la Cuaresma y conduce a la Misa de la Resurrección del Señor en la Vigilia pascual. Los servicios litúrgicos que tienen lugar durante el Triduo son: (1) Misa de la Cena del Señor, (2) Viernes Santo de la Pasión del Señor y (3) Misa de la Resurrección del Señor.

Las aplicaciones para las becas de Monseñor Norbert G. Kuehler y de los Caballeros de Colón del consejo #3558 estan disponibles en la oficina parroquial. La fecha limite para entregar sus aplicaciones en la oficina parroquial será el 14 de Abril, 2017.

Vigilia Eucarística del Jueves Santo 8:00 PM-12:00 AM

El Jueves Santo es la conmemoración de la Última Cena de Jesucristo, cuando estableció e instituyó los sacramentos de la Sagrada Eucaristía y del Sacerdocio. En la noche del Jueves Santo se lleva a cabo la Adoración Eucarística del Santísimo Sacramento donde los fieles permanece en presencia de la Eucaristía, así como los Discípulos mantuvieron una vigilia con Cristo. Este año tendremos la Vigilia Eucarística después de la Misa de la Cena del Señor. La Iglesia permanecerá abierta hasta la medianoche y necesitamos por lo menos 5 personas para rezar delante del Santísimo Sacramento durante este tiempo. La hoja para anotarse se encuentra en la entrada de la Iglesia o llame a Hugo a la oficina parroquial. Especialmente necesitamos personas para las últimas tres horas 9pm, 10pm y 11:00pm.
