Dear CCHS Alumni and Friends,
As we inch closer to spring we also begin tocongratulate our class of 2020 on their collegeacceptances, scholarshipoffers and awards. It is abittersweet time as weprepare to send our sen-iors off on their nextchapter, but at the sametime welcome ournewest family members,the CCHS class of 2024.
Thus is the cycle of Camden Catholic, which,as South Jersey’s flagship Catholic high school,has been welcoming new students every yearsince 1887. With our proud traditions ofHonor, Faith and Loyalty as our foundation,we grow more impressed with each year’sfreshmen as they embrace these ideals in theirdaily lives.
With this in mind we hope you will considerjoining us over the coming months to showyour support for the Camden Catholic studentswho continue to live our proud traditions, 133years after our founding. The Arts at CCHS isproud to present our 98th spring musical:Mary Poppins in March (yes, Mary will fly!), the14th class of Hall of Fame inductees will beinitiated in April, and the sixth Irish GivingDay takes place on St. Patrick’s Day.
As you move through the busy days of springwe invite you to come home to CCHS, whetherthat be to the play, an athletic event or as aguest speaker. It is our alumni and supporterswho have helped CCHS thrive for the past 133years, and together we will ensure our students’success as we embark on a new decade.

Audiences young and old will delight in the magic of Mary Poppins at CCHS. Over 100students are diligently singing and dancing, building sets and practicing songs to prepare forsix performances in March. Added this year is a Children’s “Meet the Characters” Breakfastand all alumni are invited to attend Alumni Night at the Play on March 7, 5:30-7:30 in PisaDining Hall with complimentary beer, wine and snacks before the show. IRISH GIVING DAY 2020Bring your green to Irish Giving Day this year as we have a goal of $150,000, 50 states to reach, hundredsof students to help and thousands of alumni to call on. We are asking you to Step Up Your Irish in 2020to support the Camden Catholic Annual Fund. Almost 1,000 alumni joined us last year and we hope tosurpass that number this year with a special incentive: the first 500 gifts of $50 or moregets a pair of signature Irish socks. IRISH SUMMER EXPERIENCE
CCHS hosts summer programs and campsfor children in grades 1 through 8.

(the 2020 camp production is Wizard of Oz) andHSPT Prep to Study Skills for 7th and 8th graders.
Digital and fine arts courses are also available.
Athletic camps are also offered for grades 4-9 inseveral sports. These camps are an ideal way forincoming freshmen to acclimate themselves to the

Stepping Up Our Irish in Service, Athletics & Academics
Legacy student Brian Rotter ’23 with alumnaLinda Schilling ’70 at the Donor AppreciationBreakfast event.
Students collected over 3,000 food items for the ThanksgivingFood Drive.
Alumni Veterans gathered to lay a wreath at theShamrock Field Memorial on Thanksgiving Day.
The Ethics Team continues to compete annually at VillanovaUniversity. This year they were applauded by PhiladelphiaInquirer reporter and competition judge Wendy Ruderman whodeclared the team “smart and articulate.”
Members of vowed religious shared their stories of discernmentwith students at our annual Vocations Mass in January.
Led by Campus Ministry Director and alumna Jennifer LaRosa ’88, CCHS Students servealongside alumni and faculty at the Cathedral Kitchen.
Together Honoring Everyone Council hosted a Christmas dress-down day to raise fundsfor Catholic Charities. They presented a donation of $1,000 to Patrick Barry, Director ofImmigration, Refugees and Migrants for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden.
Irish Girls Swim competed in the statetournament for the first time in over a decade.
