Expert Witness for plaintiff in a California case (Pulido v. State of California, et al., Marin County
Superior Court Case--1993/1994) involving the issue of sexual harassment in a state prison (San

appellate court affirmed decision and award in December 1994. I still get Christmas cards from the
plaintiff’s attorney.
Member of the Dona Ana County "Youth At Risk" community action group. Also chaired the
Evaluation component of this group, Fall 1991 to August 1993. The initial explicit purpose of the group
was the establishment of educational and support programming for juveniles in the jail. As this goal was
accomplished we turned our attention to maintaining a cooperative effort with the local jail
administrators in ensuring continued programming for the juveniles and in planning for the future.

1984 to May 1987 (promoted from a Correctional Officer position [December 1983 - August 1984] at
the same facility). Counseled adult male inmates on their progress at Larch and throughout the
Washington state prison system, helped them identify present and future goals, completed the necessary
paperwork for work release and parole and actively participated in classification decisions.
