Lindapters HD is a family of three rail clips - ‘Spring’, ‘Hard’ and ‘Soft’, all ofwhich facilitate precise alignment of the rails by allowing a high degree ofstepless lateral adjustability. HD is a user friendly innovation and will fit mostrail types.

Type B Flat Top FixingType A Recessed Fixing

TYPEProduct Description

Type A&B steelwork fixings are designed to be used with a grade 8.8 bolt, theproduct features a tail, the length of which must be chosen to suit the thicknessof the flange being gripped.

Type A has a recessed top to hold the bolt head captive whilst the nut istightened.

Type B has a flat top which allows the bolt head or nut to be rotated and issuitable for use with all bolts, studs, tie rods etc.

Type CF High Friction Clamp

Product Description

The CF clamp is an addition to the high friction range. It allows connectionto steel sections as other Lindapter products but is specifically designedfor angles and channels as well as high friction or combined loadings.

Type HB Hollo-Bolt

HOLLOProduct Description

The Hollo-Bolt was invented by Lindapter over 10 years ago as a method ofsecuring to square, rectangular or circular hollow section steel and conventionalsteelwork where access is available from one side only. Awarded the DesignCouncil's Millennium Products status for innovation in connecting to hollowsection, the Hollo-Bolt also has third party endorsements from Corus and theUK's Steel Construction Institute, and is heavily featured in the industry standardGreen Book.

Type AF High Friction Clamp

Product Description

The AF Clamp is designed to take significantly increased torque and cantherefore be used for applications where high tensile and frictional loads areencountered. With the use of an AFW adapter washer the product can be adaptedto suit many different conditions. The profile nose of Type AF enables varioustapers of beam flange to be accommodated to a maximum of 10°.

Application: The Lindapter Type AF were used in sets of 4 toconnect new roof support steelwork to the existingstructure of the grade 1 listed William Barlow shedat St Pancras Station. The shed itself was one ofthe engineering wonders of the Victorian age. It wasdesigned by William Henry Barlow and building workstarted in 1863. The station which has a singlespan roof of 243 feet across with a length of 689 ftand is 100 ft above ground at its highest point wasopened to traffic in October 1868. As part of theregeneration the train shed, is to be restored as faras possible to its original condition. So the need tobe able to attach to the arch without the need todamage the original structure by drilling or weldingwas of paramount importance.

Steelwork FixingsLindapter steelwork fixings securely grip the flange of moststandard steel sections, without the need to drill or weld.Primarily for secondary steelwork, the fixings enable beam tobeam connections to be made quickly and easily on site.

Cavity FixingsLindapter cavity fixings give a simple, cost-effective solutionwhen fixing to hollow section steel, or to steelwork whereaccess is available from one side only. They are ideal to usewith any steel structures and eliminate the requirement forunsightly welding or strapping.

Rail FixingsLindapter offer a range of rail fixings to suit standard andbespoke low speed applications. The main family of rail clips arethe Holdfast range, all of which facilitate precise alignment ofrails by allowing a high degree of stepless lateral adjustability.
