PIPING REPAIRSSpecialised machines covering pipe cutting and bending activities, as well as other machines used for pipe efficiency are key to our quality delivery.The workshops are equipped with:Hydraulic pipe bending machines to bend steel of up to 168mmx8mm wall thickness Cold pipe benders for bending different pipe sizes up to 3 inches in diameter. Welding machines and equipment. Automatic oxy cutting machines for precise shape cutting of pipes from 80mm to 1200mm in diameter, and wall thicknesses of 3mm to 60mm. Portable gas cutting machines for cutting and bevelling of pipes. Portable cold cutting machines used on-board vessels to perform cold straight cutting and bevelling operations when hot work is not permitted.

STEEL REPAIRSThe steel division offers a vast scope of repair and manufacturing procedures. It is fully equipped and boasts a complete complement of manufacturing and repair apparatus, enabling skilled artisans to complete tasks on time. The division ensures high quality outputs are vigorously pursued and customer satisfaction is paramount. All work is subject to Marine Tech’s strict Quality Systems Procedure.

UNDERWATER SERVICESDiving specialists are contracted to perform all underwater services and the team is trained to international standards.

Services include: Civil marine works Pipeline, Cable support and installations Project management Pumping and dredging Hydrographical and marine geophysical surveys Offshore support and Inspection services Class inspections and underwater surveys Towing salvage and wreck removal

ELECTRICALOur Electrical Department offers quality service through skilled and experienced personnel combined with a well equipped workshop. It can handle any job from rewinds to routine maintenance and overhauls and continues to deliver customer satisfaction and workmanship of the highest quality. The division also has vast experience in marine installations and repairs. Its diversity and adaptability is emphasized through its work on various vessel types in a number of territories, which include Republic of Congo, Republic of Angola, Brazil, Mauritius, Australia and Cameroon.

SCAFFOLDINGThe company specializes in marine scaffolding and prides itself in all types of marine scaffolds such as suspended towers, birdcages, mobile and more.

MECHANICALThe mechanical workshops are equipped with a range of machine tools, together with skilled operators, capable of undertaking the most demanding tasks.

Services include: In-situ portable devices for ship repair. Multi-disciplined marine fitters mechanical and marine repairs on floating docks, dry docks and vessels, including tailshaft surveys, overhauling of valves, steam boilers, gear boxes, pumps, cargo equipment, winches, coolers and other equipment. Turbo chargers and cargo pump services available for onboard work. Dimensional inspection. Facilities as well as alignment and vibration analysis checks. Propeller repair shop.

BLASTING & COATINGWe offer high quality skilled labour and machinery to carry out high pressure cleaning, grit blasting and coatings to specified standards.

RIDING CREWSSea-going maintenance crews travel worldwide to carry out ship maintenance while vessels are en route to destinations.

HYDRAULICSWe offer a 24-hour service in specialised shipboard systems as well as the supply of hydraulic equipment. Crane technicians from this business unit have attended vessels on American Western Sea Board, India. Pakistan, Las Palmas, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Mauritius, Thailand, Singapore and almost every port in West, Central and East Africa.
