• It hardly seems possible that seven months of school have passed so
quickly. Who would have believed that paper bag puppets and other wonderful
crafts would become a part of your home décor? Our develop-mental goals are
to give praise to each child for something they’ve accomplished and to help our
children gain self confidence. Please check your child’s cubby and make sure that
there is a change of clothing for emergencies. Thank you and God Bless!

marvelous spot to explore new worlds.
SPRING FOR
ADVENTURE – READ!
Throughout the month of March, stories will
center on spring, insects, animals and lots of
adventure. After a cold and snowy winter,
picture books are just what is needed to
brighten and cheer the children up for
sunny mild and breezy spring days, and to
help keep our preschoolers excited about
books and reading.
Reading & sharing books during Library visits:
- Enhance children’s listening skills.
- Introduces children to a wide variety of
experiences through social interaction
with other children.
- Increases their attention span.
- Introduces children to Art through the
illustrations appearing in a book.
- Helps prepare children for learning to
read and creates an interest in reading.
Let’s Encourage and Excite preschoolers
about books and READING!

Supplies Needed: Thank you parents for turning in cleaning supplies to your
child’s teacher. If you have not turned in any supplies please do so. With the
numerous colds and viruses going around our current supply is in high demand,
and will diminish quickly. To maintain a clean and germ-free environment for
your child: Clorox wipes, baby wipes, tissue boxes, and paper towels are greatly
needed.
•This month is filled with fun and excitement as we prepare for our International
Week on March 17-21. Parent volunteers will be needed to make our festivities a
success during our journey on Thursday, March 20th and Friday, March 21st.
Please contact your child’s teacher if you are interested. We look forward to
having you join us on our adventures this month.
