Winter 2019 Story Time Sessions for children*

Preschool Story Time for children ages 4 through 6

Tuesdays at 10:30 am January 21 through April 21.

Registration is required at marcelluslibrary.org (click on events), call the library at 315-673-3221 or in person at the front desk.

Toddler Story Time for children ages 18 months to 3 years

accompanied by an adult. Wednesdays, January 22

through April 22. Two sessions: 9:30 and 10:15 am

Awesome Art Winter/Spring 2020 schedule

Special New Years Session Friday, January 3: 10:30 am - 3 years and up class 11:30 am to 12 noon - 8 years and up INCLUDING ADULTS

Monday, January 20 (MLK Day, no school): 10:30 am - 3 years and up class 11:30 am to 12 noon - 8 years and up INCLUDING ADULTS. Please bring a yoga mat.

For our new 8 years and and up including adults classes: these sessions will focus on meditation and breathing for a healthy mind, foundational asanas for flexibility, strength, relaxation and restoration for the young yogi. This class is designed to teach strategies for self awareness, empowerment, teamwork, strength and of course have lots of FUN! All levels welcome. Bring your mat, water bottle and a blanket for relaxation if you prefer. See you on the mat!

Friends of Marcellus Library Meeting

It may be cold outside, but you can warm up with hot, homemade soup at the next Friends meeting! After working up an appetite helping the library “Read the Shelves,” we will enjoy a selection of homemade soups, desserts, and beverages. Please bring a mug or bowl, and a spoon. A short business meeting will follow

lunch. This beneficial service to the library helps find misplaced books on the shelves. We hope you will join us - all are welcome!

New Tech Packs now available to borrow Tech Kit include WiFi Hot Spot and Chromebook MFL (as well as other county libraries) is excited to be offering library patrons the opportunity to borrow Tech Pack kits. These new kits are available to all county library patrons. Holds may be placed through the card catalog, but kits borrowed from Marcellus Library must be picked up and returned here. WiFi hot spots may be connected to multiple devices. Kit caveats: Patrons must be 18 years and older and may not have fines on their library accounts exceeding $5. Loan agreements must be signed each and every time kits are borrowed. If you have questions, please call the Library and ask for Sara.

Marcellus Free Library Book Club meets Wednesday, January 8 at 6:30 pm The Marcellus Free Library has an active book club group that meets the first Wednesday night of each month (September through June) in the large tutoring room. The group is actively seeking new participants to join one, some, or all of the discussions. No registration or long-term commitment is necessary. Below are the books picked for the next 6 months. .
