    Chapter 3 Safety Precaution

    1 Before starting, please check the worktop, transmission belt and

    cutter-block. Make sure that there is no tool or any other useless

    staffs, and check if everything is good condition.

    2 Before starting, the protection device should be in the function

    position.

    3 During its running, approaching or touching the running parts is

    prohibited.

    4 During its running, putting hands or tools into the cutter-block is

    danger and forbidden.

    5 When the machine is working, switching the operation button

    and changing the parameters setting randomly and frequently is

    prohibited.

    6 Over-long period high speed running is prohibited.

    7 Two or more persons operating the switching buttons at the same

    time is prohibited; make sure the power is off during maintaining.

    When several persons are setting the machine, please guarantee

    enough communication and coordination to avoid accidents.

    8 When checking or fixing the electrical control circuit, working

    with power on is forbidden. Please make sure the power has

    been cut off by qualified electrical workers.

    allowed to operate the machine. People without training or

    unqualified persons are not allowed to regulate or fix the

    machines.

    Bag length (Length of pouch): It is setting the values is set according the

    length of the packed product (the distance between the color marks).

    Speed setting: Set it directly on the interface or press the ADJUSTMENT

    button (see picture 2) on the running frame. To speed up turn it

    clockwise, to slow down, turn it anticlockwise. (It must be turned to theminimum as duty off to avoid the speed is too fast to be controlled when

    start the machine next time.)

    cutting compensation value, the machine will compensate the cut-off

    Cutter momentary: only the cutting knife move, has nothing to do with

    other parts. Press Forward rotation, the cutting knife move.

    Paper move: only the film frame move, press the Forward to forward, press

    the Backward to backward.

    Press Back, then press System parameter, it will show (Picture 8)

    This interface no need to revise, press Black directly to return the first

    page.

    (If only setting single interface value, after inputting the value press Sure

    5.3 The usage of the temperature controller

    1). TCP is short for the temperature control panel, its used to control

    the temperature value.

    2). It can be continuously modulated in the range of 0-399 ,

    according to the packing speed, film thickness and the normal

    temperature. The best value should be value when the seals are not

    leaking, scorched and crumpled.

    3). Horizontal sealing and vertical sealing is controlled separately. The

    switches are shown on the panel.

    4). Operation method: turn on the TCP, and press the keythen press

    the temperature increase key or the decrease key until it meets the

    requested value.

    5.4 The use explanation of start inchingstopE.C.T stop button

    1Presses the start button and then the machine will run.

    2 Keep pressing the Inching button, the machine will run at a fixed

    speed until you loose the button.

    3The start and inching buttons should be used according to the speed

    ADJUSTMENT.

    4Stop buttonPress it and loose it immediately, the machine will do

    the positioned stop process, when the cutter holder is level, the machine

    will stop.

    5E.C.T stop button: use it under emergency.

    Chapter 6 Part adjustment

    6.1 Step of paper loading

    a. Put the films on the roller, orienting left side.

    b. Adjust the film lock in the mid of the roller.

    c. Roll the film according to the figure, get it passes the bag maker until

    you press it onto the film-pressing wheel.

    6.2 Adjustment of packing film tensile force

    If the tension of films is asymmetrical when pass through the bag

    maker, it will cause the feeding unsmooth. Thus the tension should be

    adjusted before starting the machine.

    Either edges loose or the middle loose is considered as irregular. In this

    case, please swing the swing arms of the feeding frame or move the angle

    wheel up and down and fix the angle and height with the bag maker to

    achieve even tension.

    Start the machine after adjusting the tension. If the films pile up in section

    A (shown in picture 9), then revolve the fine-modulation hand wheel of the

    vertical sealing part to speed it up. If the film in section A is too tight,

    please slow it down.

    If the seals of the products are not trim enough (shown in picture 10), then

    you can rotate the adjusting roller(r). Clockwise direction is IN while

    anticlockwise one is OUT. Keep rotating until the seals are trim (it doesnt

    react immediately). Pay attention not to adjust too much each time.

    1) When the vertical sealing feeding is not smooth during the

    running, you can adjust the vertical sealing fine-modulation hand

    wheel until the film-pulling wheel and the pressing wheel are

    synchronously smooth.

    2) The effect of the sealing should be airtight and the thread be clear.

    Otherwise, you can swing the angle of pressing wheel to fix it.

    3) Film-feeding wheel, pressing wheel and vertical ironing board

    should be level, and also their midpoint should be in one level.

    6.4 Usage of the photoelectric eye tracing system

    1.The photoelectrical eye tracing system includes the programmable

    controller, the film-feeding programmer, color mark, e-eye cutter

    programmer, cutter approaching switch and etc. Its function is to

    supervise the bag length (which cannot be supervised without color

    mark). The color mark should be dark, especially black. The

    specification of color mark is as follows: horizontal direction 8-10mm;

    vertical direction 3-5mm. Shown in the figure below.

    2. Methods and steps of modulation

    1Measure the distance between two color marks accurately

    with a ruler, and set the value as the bag length;

    2After filling the films, aim the photoelectrical eye at the color

    mark, and start the machine, let the eye blink when it pass

    through each color mark. If the blink is irregular or it does

    not work, then you must modulate the sensitivity of the eye

    by rotating the knob or clean the roller of driving axle.

    3Before starting the machine, make sure to set the color mark

    trace cutting on the display screen;

    4After starting the machine, the color mark photoelectrical eye

    traces the color marks. If it cut like the figure below, then

    input the measured value X as the cutting compensation

    value (shown in figure f). And input the measured value Y as

    the cutting compensation value (shown in figure g), and then

    press the confirm key.

    The red light on the photoelectric eye shall flash as the machine working,

    or the yellow lights on the control panel shall flash one by one.

    6.5 Adjustment of the speed of horizontal sealing

    Adjustment of the speed for horizontal sealing shall be

    taken no matter how long the packing bag will be. Otherwise

    the sealing will be poor. The adjustment shall be based on the

    knife cutting speed and the speed of packing film. It means that

    it shall not make to paper jam or make to paper too tense. Ifpaper jam, the cutting speed is too slow. Adjust the manual

    wheel (m), turn tit anti clockwise .If paper is too tense, the

    cutting speed is too fast, Adjust the manual wheel (m), turn it

    clockwise till it becomes perfect.

    6.6 Adjustment of the horizontal sealing speed and the cutter frame

    1. Methods of adjusting the horizontal sealing speed

    1)The speed should be adjusted according to different packing length,

    or else the sealing is not good.

    2)The horizontal sealing speed adjustment is on the condition that

    the cutters linear speed equals to the pressing wheel. It would be fine

    when the films are not piled up or pulled.

    3)If the films piled up, it means the cutter speed is too slow, you can

    adjust the cutting speed hand wheel in clockwise direction(shown in

    picture 9); If the films are pulled, it means the cutter speed is too fast,

    then you can adjust the cutting speed hand wheel in anticlockwise

    direction until they are synchronous.

    2.Methods of cutter frame adjustment

    1)To achieve best output, the mid level of objects to be packed should

    be level to the middle of the upper and lower cutters.

    2)In case that the difference between the objects is large, the height of

    cutter frame should be reset.

    The correct position is as follows:

    MethodLoose the 4 side bolts, and use the wrench to rotate the big

    screw on the cutter frame. Fix the 4 side bolts after adjustment is done.

    6.7Adjustment of horizontal sealing cutter holder

    1The adjustment of the cutter holder is the key to the quality of the

    sealing. The cutter holder has been adjusted carefully and tested strictly

    before leaving the factory. Under the normal running situation, it wont

    deviate, so dont adjust the cutter holder under normal circumstances.

    The method to check the cutter holder ist: Put a carbon paper between

    two white papers, start the machine to test. If the trace is clear and

    symmetrical, adjustment is unnecessary. Otherwise adjustment is

    necessary. (Shown in the figure below)

    2) Methods of adjustment

    In case of incorrect position of both cutters, loose the bolt of the

    upper blades axle to take out the gear, and then rotate the holder until

    the angle is perfect. And then fix the bolt.

    3) Cutter adjustment

    A. When the cutter cannot cut off the films, it needs adjustment.

    Usually put a thin piece of copper to pad the cutter. The film should be

    cut off without a big noise.

    B. If the problem still exists, you need to change a new blade. When

    adjusting the blade, the temperature will be at 135 during the

    process.

    Steps of adjustment

    1. Firstly put a packing object on the transmission belt, and start the

    machine until the object is sent into the packing film and stop the

    machine to check before the cutter cuts.

    Positioni is correct, while positionh needs adjustment.

    2. When the (h) situation comes up, the way to adjust is that click

    (figure 7) the rear part transmission button to adjust the position of the

    material.

    3. If the adjustment is dissatisfactory, then try again until the object

    centers well
