• Cleanthehousingandkeepwarmplate(11)withaclean,dampcloth.Donotuseabrasivepadsoralcohol.

• The carafe(13)isdishwasher-safe.Washcarafe(13),carafelid(15),filterbasket(18)andpermanentfilter(19)inhot,soapywater.Rinseanddry.

• Remove the carafe (13), permanent filter (19) and the filter basket (18) from thecoffeemaker.

• Usebakingsodaormildcleaningagenttoremovestainsonthecarafe (13). Ifstainsarehardtoremove,fillcarafe(13)withhotwaterandadd2tablespoonsofdishwasherdetergent.Washandrinseafterleavingwaterwithdetergentincarafe (13)overnight.

• Ensureallpartsarecompletelydryafterwashingandbeforeuse.

CLEANING

Automatic clean functionThecoffeemakerisequippedwithanautomaticcleanfunction.After60brewingcycles,theclean indicator/button(21)lightsup.Thisindicatesthatthecoffeemakershouldbecleanedusing theautomaticclean functionand thecharcoalfilter (16) shouldbereplaced.

NOTE: Thecoffeemakercancontinuetobeused,whenclean indicator/button (21)ison.

• Tobeginthecleaningcycle,removethecharcoalfilter(16)fromthewatertank(9).Fillthetankwithavinegarandwatermixture(½vinegarand½water)oradescalingproduct.

• Press and hold clean button (21) for 2 seconds to start program. The coffeemakerbeepsoncebeforecleaningstarts.Theclean button(21) flasheswhiletheprogramisrunning.

• Pressandholdtheclean button(21)for3secondstostopprogramonceithasstarted.

• Press button(29)anytimeduringcleancycletostopprogramandallowtheunittostarttobrew.

• After completion of cleaning program or if power is lost during clean cycle, thecounterisreset,andtheclean buttonlight(21)willgoout.

Cleaning process:• Continuouscyclesof7secondsbrewingand21secondsoffuntiltankisempty.• After cleaning process is complete the clean indicator/button (21) goes off.
