Read and keep user guideThis user guide pertains to these 2 pop up soccer goals.It contains important information regarding assembly and use.To facilitate understanding, the 2 pop up soccer goals are hereinafter simply referred to as “the soccer goal”.Read through the user guide carefully, in particular the safety instructions, before using the soccer goal. Failure to observe these instructions may lead to injury or to damage to the soccer goal. Store the user guide safely for further use. If you pass on the soccer goal to third parties, be sure to include this user guide.

Pop Up Soccer Goals Safety

Safety

Appropriate useThe soccer goal is intended exclusively for playing soccer in private use at home outdoors and is not suitable for commercial purposes. Use the soccer goal only in the manner described in this user guide. Any other use is regarded as not appropriate and may lead to material damage or even to personal injury. The manufacturer or dealer assumes no liability for damage that has arisen because of inappropriate or wrongful use.

Safety instructions

WARNING!Danger of suffocation!

When playing with the wrapping material, children may become entangled in it and suffocate. −Donotallowchildrentoplaywiththeshrink wrapping material or with the small parts contained in the packaging.

WARNING!Risk of injury!

−Thegoalframeandthenetmaynotbeusedas a climbing frame. If the soccer goal tips over or the child falls down, injuries may occur. Children should therefore be supervised while playing. −Alwayserectthesoccergoalonanevensurface and fasten securely to the ground using the pegs supplied. The soccer goal may not be used if not securely protected against tipping over.

−Protectthesoccergoalagainsttippingovereven when not in use.−Usethesoccergoalonlyifundamaged.Forthis reason, check all parts for damage before use.

−Adultassemblyrequired.−Thesoccergoalisnotsuitableforchildrenunder the age of 3.−Whenfolded,thesoccergoalisundertension. When opening, hold the soccer goal securely with one hand. There is a risk of injury from the soccer goal unfolding suddenly.

NOTE!Risk of damage!Putting it up in an inappropriate place can lead to material damage when playing soccer.−Forthisreason,maintainaminimumdistance of 3.3 yd (3 meters) away from other objects (e.g.electricalcables,flowerpots,etc.).

Check soccer goal and items included in delivery

NOTE!Risk of damage!The soccer goal is easily damaged if you open the package carelessly with a knife or other sharp object.−Takegreatcarewhenopening.

1. Remove the soccer goal from its packaging and check whether there is any damage to the soccer goal or to the individual parts. If there is, do not use the soccer goal. Contact the manufacturer at the service address given on the warranty card.2.Makesurethatalldeliveryitemsareincluded(seefig.A).


Assembling and setting up the soccer goal

WARNING!Danger of injury!Inappropriate assembly may lead to injuries.−Setupthesoccergoalwithcareandonasuitable, even surface.

WARNING!Danger of injury!If the soccer goal tips over, this may lead to injuries.−Alwaysassemblethesoccergoalonaneven surface and fasten securely in the ground using the pegs supplied. The soccer goal may not be used if not securely protected against tipping over.−Beforeusingpegs,ensurethatthegroundis suitable (e.g. there should be no water pipes for lawn sprinklers).

1. Take the soccer goal out of its carry bag.2.Unfastenthestrapandcarefullyunfoldthesoccergoal(seefig.B)while holding it securely with one hand to prevent it from unfolding suddenly.3.Putthefiberglasspolestogether,openthezipperonthecrossstruts, andpushthemintotheopening(seefig.C).4.Closethezippersothatthefiberglasspolescannotcomeloose.5. Fasten the soccer goal to the ground using the pegs provided. If fastening to the ground is not possible because of the condition of the ground, use other suitable aids (e.g. sandbags) to prevent the soccer goal from tipping over.

Taking down and folding up the soccer goal1. Pull the pegs out of the ground.2.Openthezipperandtakeoutthefiberglasspoles.3.Holdthesoccergoalcrosswiseinfrontofyourchest(seefig.E).4.PressthecornerAforwardsandthendownwardstocornerB (seefigs.EandF).Tworingsareautomaticallyformed(seefigs.G and H).5.Nowfoldthespareloopasshowninfig.Hontothetworings.6. Secure the three rings with the fastening strap.7. Store the soccer goal in the carry bag provided.

Care and maintenanceNOTE!Danger because of mishandling!Inappropriate handling of the soccer goal may lead to damage.−Donotuseanyaggressivecleaningagents, brushes with metal, or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning articles such as knives, hard scrapers, and such. These can damage the surfaces.

− Cleanthegoalpolesandtextilesurfacesasneededusingalightly moistened cloth.

Storage− Makesurethatallsoccergoalcomponentsarestoredinadrylocation protected against the weather. Use the carry bag for this purpose.
