Modo puente térmicoElmododepuente térmicocompara la temperaturade la superficie con latemperaturaambiente.Si ladiferenciadetemperaturaeslosuficientementegrande,elLEDencimadelapantallacambiarádeverdeaamarilloorojoparaindicarlaposiblepresenciadeunpuentetérmico.1.Paraactivaryentraralmodopuentetérmico,presioneelbotón .2.Apunteelinstrumentohaciaelobjetoymantengapulsadoelgatillo.Lospun-terosláserseactivaránmostrandoeláreaqueelsensorinfrarrojopuedever.
3.Lapantallamostrarálatemperaturadelasuperficieactualdelobjetodentrode lamarcademedición juntocon la temperaturaambiente.Despuésdesoltarelgatilloenlapantallasemostrarálamedidaactual.

Modo aviso de mohoEnestaadvertenciaelaparatocomparalatemperaturadesuperficiedeunob-jetoconlatemperaturadelpuntodecondensación.Estasecalculamediantelahumedaddelaireexistenteylatemperaturaambiente.Siexisteunriesgodeformacióndemoho,elLEDloindicaráclaramenteenlapantallaconloscoloresverde,amarilloorojo.1.Paraajustarelmodoavisodemohopulselatecla .2.Dirijaelaparatoalobjetodemediciónypulselateclademedición.Elpunte-roláserformauncírculoparaseñalarlasuperficiedemedición.
3.Enlapantallasemostraráahoralatemperaturadesuperficieregistrada,lahume-daddelaire,latemperaturaambienteasícomolatemperaturadecondensación.Suelteelgatillo,losresultadosdelamediciónsemostrarán.
4.ElLEDenlapantallaindicaunposibleriesgodeformacióndemoho:- Verde:Ningunoomuybajoriesgodeformacióndemoho.- Amarillo:Posibleriesgodeformacióndemoho.Repitadenuevolame-diciónparamayorseguridadenunmomentoposterior..- Rojo:Altoriesgodeformacióndemoho.Elvalordelamediciónsospe-chososerepresentaparpadeandoparaseñalaresteriesgo.- Despuésdeaprox.25sdesoltarelgatillo,el instrumentoseapagaráautomáticamente.

7. MENSAJES DE ERROR7.1. Sensor de temperatura no está aclimatado
1.El instrumentohasidoexpuestoavariacionesde temperaturaseverasynecesitatiempoparaaclimatarsealentornoactual.
2.Elinstrumentomostrarálossímbolosarribaindicados.3.Mantengaelinstrumentoenelentornoactualduranteaprox.10-30minutosparaquetengatiemposuficienteparaadaptarsealmedioambiente.
7.2. Temperatura ambiente fuera del rango operativo
1.Elinstrumentohadetectadounerrorinterno.2.Elinstrumentomostraráelsímboloarriba.3.Pararestablecerretirelabatería,espereunossegundos,vuelvaainsertarlabatería.
Nota: si el problemapersiste, es posible que el instrumento tenga que serrevisadoporlostécnicos.8. RELACIÓN DISTANCIA-OBJETO (D:S)Paralograrresultadosdemediciónprecisoselobjetomedidodebesermayoralpuntodemedicióndeltermómetroinfrarrojo.Latemperaturaregistradaesla temperaturamediade lasuperficiemedida.Cuantomáspequeñoseaelobjetodemedición,menordebeserladistanciahastaeltermómetroinfrarrojo.

Paramedicionesprecisaselobjetomedidodeberíateneralmenoseldobledetamañodelpuntodemedición.Larelaciónentreladistanciayeltamañodepuntoes12: 1; en el siguiente dibujo se puede observar:
ParaevitarqueelsensorrecojaradiaciónIRdefuentesadicionales,asegú-resedequeeltermómetroestámáscercadelobjetodedestinoquedelratioD:S.9. EMISIVIDADElgradodeemisiónesunvalorqueseutilizaparadescribirlacaracterísticaderadiacióndeenergíadeunmaterial.Cuantomayorseaelvalormayorserálacapacidaddelmaterialdeemitirradiaciones.Muchosmaterialesorgánicosysuperficiesposeenungradodeemisióndeentre0,85y0,95.Las superficiesmetálicas omateriales brillantes tienen unmenor grado deemisión. Por ello, este instrumento está equipado con tres configuracionesdelgradodeemisiónajustadaspreviamente.Apesardelgradodeemisiónregulable,noserecomiendamediarensuperficiesbrillantes(aceroinoxida-ble,etc).Losvaloresdemediciónmásprecisosseobtienensiseusancintas

PUENTE TÉRMICOEnelmodopuentestérmicossecomparalatemperaturadesuperficieconlatemperaturaambiente.Siladiferenciaentreestastemperaturasesexcesiva,elLEDloindicaráclaramenteenlapantallaconloscoloresverde,amarilloyrojoparadetectarlapresenciadeunposiblepuentetérmico.Debidoaquelatemperaturadelasuperficiedeunobjetoenunpuentetérmicoesmenorqueelrestodelaestancia,elriesgodepuentetérmicoaumentasignificativamenteenestoslugares.11. REEMPLAZO DE LA PILACuando el símbolo de la batería aparece en la pantalla, indica que la pilanecesitasercambiada.PresionelacarcasaenamboslateralessobreeltextoOPENdelacarcasadelabateríayretíreladelinstrumentoparaquitarlatapa.Segúnelsiguientedibujo:

IRT TECHNOLOGYAninfraredthermometerdetectstheinfraredradiationthatanobjectemits.Thesensordetermineshowmuchinfraredradiationtheobject isgivingoffandtheinternalmicroprocessor converts that reading into a temperature reading.Us-ingthismethodthethermometercanmeasureanobject’stemperaturewithouttouchingtheobject.Thelaserareonlyusedtoaimthethermometeratthetarget.6. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS6.1. Preparation1.Donotsubjecttheinstrumenttoextremetemperaturevariations.Thiscanimpairtheaccuracyoftheinstrument.
2.Avoidheavyimpacts/droppingtheinstrument.3.Avoidcoveringthetemp/humiditysensor,infraredsensor,orthelaserpointers.6.2. Turning on the instrumentToturnontheinstrument,presseitherthetriggeroranyofthefacebuttons.Themeterwillstartupwiththelastsettingsthatwereused.6.3. 2.Theinstrumentwillshowtheabovesymbols.3.Keeptheinstrumentinthecurrentenvironmentforapprox.10-30minutessoithasenoughtimetoadapttotheenvironment.
7.2. Ambient temperature outside operating range

Toprevent thesensor frompickingup IR radiation fromadditional sources,makesurethethermometerisclosertothetargetobjectthantheD:Sratio.9. EMISSIVITYEmissivityisatermusedtodescribetheenergyemittingcharacteristicsofamaterial.Thegreatertheemissivity,themoreenergytheobjectiscapableofemitting.Mostorganicmaterialsandoxidizedmetalsurfaceshaveaemissivitybetween0.85to0.98.Thethermometer’ssensorhastheabilitytobeadjustedto3differentemissivitysettings:high(0.95),medium(0.85)andlow(0.75).10. THERMAL BRIDGEAthermalbridgeisanyobjectthatallowsthetransferofheatorenergyfromonesidetoanother.Becausethesurfacetemperatureofanobjectatathermalbridgeislowerthantherestoftheroom,theriskofmoldincreasessignificantlyattheselocations.11. CHANGING THE BATTERYWhenthebatterysymbolappearsonthedisplay,itindicatesthatthebatteryneedstobechanged.PressthecasingattheOPENsymbolsonbothsidesofthebatterycoverandpullitawayfromthemetertoopenthecover.Seethefollowingdrawing
