    CONCLUSION

    To handle all steel cargo through Mumbai port we need to

    augment / build infrastructure as follows :-

    Dedicated Deep Drafted Berths for over dimensional steel

    cargo vessels with shore mobile crane of 40 mt swl.

    Deepening of main channel up to 12 m

    Round the Clock working

    Build Adequate Storage Area for steel cargo .
