2. To enter a task, click on Task List and type the name of the task.

3. Your home page displays 3 tabs based on when tasks are due: Today, Tomorrow, Overdue.

4. Click on the blue “Continue to Tasks” button.5. The “Tabs” Inbox, Personal, Study, Work, and All

6. To enter a task, just type it into the “Add Task” bar area. Press Enter button.

7. To edit that task, select it by clicking on check box to left. Add due date and other items like tags, location, URL as needed to the right.

8. Click on the arrow button beside the “More Actions…” to select priority level, delete task, or move to another list.

9. Mark the task complete or postpone by clicking those buttons to the left.

10. To customize your settings click on the settings link in the upper right hand corner. You can set up email reminders, GoogleTalk reminders, and more. Customize to your needs.

• Task Coach is a simple open source to do manager to keep track of personal tasks and todo lists.

Getting Started with Task Coach

1. Download Task Coach from http://www.taskcoach.org/

2. Install the software. If you want to install a portable version on a flash drive, be sure to select that version and download it. You will need to have your flash drive engaged to install the software.

3. Open the Application.

1. Click on the “New Task” button or select “New Task” from Task menu item.

2. Select “Description” and type the Name of that Task, a short description, and select a priority for that Task.Type Task Name

3. To set Due Date, click on the Dates icon on the bar at the top. To enter due dates, reminder dates and times, and recurrence times, simply click on the down arrow to select date from calendar.

4. You can add additional information by clicking on the other icons across the top. Click OK to close the New Task Input box.

5. Click on the save button to make sure task is saved. Repeat to enter other tasks.

• You can set up categories in which to place tasks for easier organization.

• You can use the Notes feature to enter more detailed notes about tasks. You can also add attachments relevant to that task.

1. Download Hott Notes from http://www.hottnotes.com/

3. Once installed you can activate the software by double-clicking on its icon. Once activated, an icon will appear on the task bar.

4. Right-click on icon and a menu will appear. The menu gives you several options. To set up how Hott Notes will work on your computer, select “Config/Tools” and then settings.

6. To create a New Note, right click on the task bar icon. Select “New” and then the kind of note you want.

7. Your note will then appear. Retype the Title. You can use the Edit Options box to customize your note further.
