Using the CrownThe watch’s crown is a screw-in (screwlock) type. To use the crown, you firstneed to rotate it towards you (leftwards)to loosen it.

Important!

● To prevent loss of waterresistance and/or damage dueto impact, be sure to push thecrown in and lock it when not inuse.

● When pushing the crown backin, take care not to apply toomuch force.

● Fast Forward/Fast ReverseAfter pulling out the crown, rotating itquickly in succession in either directionwill start a fast forward or fast reverseoperation. While a fast forward operationis in progress, quickly rotating the crownin succession again will increase thespeed even further.● The fast reverse operation speed is

fixed and cannot be changed.

● Stopping Fast Forward/FastReverse

Rotate the crown in the directionopposite that of the ongoing operation orpress any button.

● If you do not perform anyoperation for about two minutesafter pulling out the crown,crown operations willautomatically become disabled.If that happens, push the crownback in and then pull it out again.

Changing Hand and the DayIndicator Settings

● Mode Hand and Day IndicatorMovement

Changing the day setting of the watch willalso cause the mode hand to move.

● Day● It can take anywhere from about 90

seconds to three minutes for the dayindicator to change after timekeepingreaches midnight. The mode handmoves as the day indicator changes.

● The day may not be indicated correctlywhile the watch’s crown is pulled out.

Solar ChargingWhat is solar charging?This watch runs on power supplied froma rechargeable (secondary) battery thatis charged by a solar panel. The solarpanel is integrated into the face of thewatch, and power is generatedwhenever the face is exposed to light.

Charging the WatchWhen you are not wearing the watch, putit in a location where it is exposed tobright light.

While you are wearing the watch, makesure that its face (solar panel) is notblocked from the light by the sleeve ofyour clothing. Power generationefficiency is reduced even when the faceof the watch is blocked only partially.

Power Saving FunctionLeaving the watch in a dark location forabout one hour between the hours of 10p.m. and 6 a.m. will cause the secondhand to stop, and the watch to enterLevel 1 power saving. If the watch is leftin this condition for six or seven days, allhands will stop at 12 o’clock and thewatch will enter Level 2 power saving.Level 1:Second hand stops to save power.Level 2:The following operations are stopped tosave power: all hand movement(excluding the day indicator), Bluetoothconnection, and alarm alerts.

● Recovering from Power SavingOperation

Press any button or place the watch in awell-lit area to recover from powersaving.

Using Mobile Link with aMobile Phone

While there is a Bluetooth connectionbetween the watch and phone, the watchwill adjust its time settings in accordancewith those of the phone, and you can viewstopwatch data on the phone.

● Clearing Pairing Information fromthe Watch

Connecting a Different Watch to aPhoneYou should perform the steps belowbefore pairing a different watch with thephone, such as after you buy a newwatch.

● Pairing the Watch with a Phone1. Y On CASIO WATCH+, tap

“Connection settings”.

2. Y Tap “Connect new watch”.

3. Y Select the name of the watch youwant to connect to and then tap“Next”.

● From this point, follow theinstructions that appear on yourphone’s screen to complete thepairing operation.

● Connecting with a Watch that isAlready Paired

1. Y On CASIO WATCH+, tap“Connection settings”.

2. Y From the “Previously registeredwatch” list, tap the name of the phoneyou want to connect with.

3. Y Tap “Connect to this ***”.● Follow the instructions that appear

on your phone’s screen tocomplete the connectionoperation.

● A phone can be connected withonly one watch at a time. Toconnect to another watch, youneed to terminate the currentconnection.

Calendar Mode

Setting the Time and DayWhile the watch is connected to a phone,it will automatically adjust its day and timesettings to those of the phone. If thewatch is not connected to a phone, usethe procedure below to adjust its day andtime settings.1. Pull out the crown to the second click.

This causes the second hand tomove to 12 o’clock, the mode handto move to 0, and enables the hourand minute setting operation.● Crown operation is disabled while

The watch is emitting radio waveswhenever the second hand is pointing toe (Bluetooth connected) or R (Bluetoothconnection standby). Even if the secondhand is not pointing at e or “R”, the watchwill attempt to connect with a phone oncea day to update its time settings.When in a hospital, on an aircraft, or inany other area where the use of radiowaves is not allowed, disable radio waveemission by pressing the (C) button toterminate the Bluetooth connection.Next, hold down the (A) button for aboutfour seconds to enter the Airplane Mode.
